To be fair, it's possible he's already exhausted his budget for this sale.

(That's why I didn't buy it. Having the Fall and Winter sales so close together and including so many things at "$5 or less and 50% off or more" for the first time really ate into my wallet. All that's left is the emergency buffer for special cases like "Shovel Knight or Transistor or the various D&D Enhanced Editions finally drop down to $5" or "GOG manages to get Commander Keen or Jazz Jackrabbit".)

(Besides: Regional Pricing always puts me off, even if GoG is so nice to take on the difference and it isn't as big anymore anyway, I just don't want to support devs doing it.)

Actually, I almost completely passed on this sale, only bought a Pinata ("Gurumin", a nice catch) and "Indiana Jones - The Emperor's Tomb".
Since the € has gone down, I can't afford many games anymore, but that's ok.

I feel your pain. The canadian dollar continues to fall and it's now down to 72¢ US.

I don't buy the piñatas because so much of what I have left to buy is either garbage or stuff I own on Humble where $3 would be less than 75% off and I'm still waiting for GOG to get the Linux versions before I re-buy to show support. (eg. I loved FEZ, but I'm not re-buying it until the Linux version comes here)

(When you own around 3000 games, digital and CD-ROM combined, there's plenty of incentive to wait for the cheap ones to hit 75% off and the expensive ones to reach $5 or less via 80%+ discounts)

I'm not sure it's worth that much. I found only one redeeming factor in the game: it's very short so it ends quickly. But tastes vary.

I may wait for it to show up in a Humble Bundle or for the GOG price to drop to where the game plus the OST totals $5 or less. I'm generally not a big fan of having to dig out UnXWB or a Unity resource extractor to exercise my right to format-shift.

I really enjoyed Transistor and think it's definitely worth it, although it could be a bit longer indeed.
