My list of unread forum replies is starting to get ugly because this broken fucking site still won't let me check them.

adaliabooks: No, they are working on reimplementing them in the website, but on Gog Time®
GOG needs to be more selective in what Valve innovations/features they copy in their efforts to compete with Steam.

Yeah, that eventually™ put Gog-Time® into a whole new perspective.

Given that the problem occurred during GOG's night time, it probably was unrelated? Hard to say as the sale has caused so many issues, though.

Another fun (not) fact is that the reviews for Rebel Galaxy show from oldest to newest, no matter what the option is set to in AF. There may be other affected games, but I'm not particularly inclined to go look for them.

Well as it's been fixed and there are still no notifications I assume it was unrelated.

Hmmm. I'll have a look at that. Considering all the date related issues I imagine it's a problem with the dates on Gog side but possibly not.

Edit: Actually, seems to be fine for me. So it's either already sorted or it's specific to you (or Firefox)

I didn't mention it as an AF issue, I took it as one more thing going south on GOG due to the sale.

But it's the weirdest of things. When I'm not logged in, the reviews show as should based on my AF settings, when I am logged in they disregard the order setting, and that one only. Every other game I've checked is fine. So, you may be right, and not only is it specific to me, but my account in particular.

Oh I know you weren't suggesting it was, but it's always a possibility. Mainly I was just going to check if it was due to the date data being corrupted or incorrect.

That is odd... is it a game you have reviewed or rated perhaps?

No and no. But the logged in/ logged out thing may have been a coincidence, as here's another oddity:

- Click on magnifying glass.
- Enter game title.
- Click on result for game page to open.
- Reviews display from oldest to newest.

Got this for at least three games now.

- Open the page of one of the the games under "PEOPLE WHO BOUGHT IT ALSO BOUGHT" list, reviews display as should, i.e. obeying my AF setting.

- Go back to the previous game page (using the back button in Firefox), reviews are stuck again in "from oldest to newest" order.

- Close said game page, and reopen it from closed tabs, reviews display as should.

- Reload page, reviews go back to displaying from oldest to newest.

I give up for now. Will revisit this after the sale ends.
Are any notifications working at all on GOG? Seems like everything is broken. No chat messages notifications, no updated games notifications and etc. Is it like that for everyone?

With or without Barefoot Essentials?

No, there are no notifications then.

Gog broke them with the new nav bar and their return is on the cards but may take some time (this being Gog).

But Barefoot fixes it in the meantime.

eiii: The game list only displays 2000 games, the last page, page 41 of 41, is empty.
As so often, this bug has been discovered first by mrkgnao.
Quick update: this should be fixed.
