I suspect the lag is being caused by the new interface. The summer sale probably has millions of people coming to check out the deals and the GOG server is feeding pages of pretty cover-art to each person viewing the store instead of lists of text and tiny thumbnails like in the old interface.
My library page on the site lists my number of games as 374, but when I hover my mouse over my account name, it says I have 372 games. Both said 372 until I added a game to my library, at which point, the number went up on the library page but not the account drop-down menu. Then I added another game to my library and now it says this. Clearly the correct number is 374, and this bug is very recent. Everything correctly updated when I added Eye of the Beholder Trilogy 4 days ago, but it didn't when I added ASYLUM Demo 2 days ago or P.A.M.E.L.A. yesterday.

Yes, exactly the same story here, though this isn't the first time this is happening.

Same here.

I found a way to "fix" it. Log out, log back in. Now the count is no longer wrong. Instead, it is completely missing.

I actually noticed that my count on the account name mouseover didn't change, despite me adding "Cyberpunk 2077 Goodies Collection" to my library.

Then again, this is unusual in that it's one of the very few "games" on the site that doesn't offer any game to download, and appears to support no platforms (not even Windows), so having it behave oddly wouldn't strike me as particularly strange.

[emphasis added]

Very recent, but not a new one.

The Games count in my account drop-down menu was stuck at some random point in time until yesterday, but it seems to have been fixed now (though the correct count shows up with some delay). Is it still out of sync for you?

@mrkgnao, is it back, and correct, for you?

It's accurate now.

Back and correct.
Well, the counters are back, but now I have another problem: I don't receive discount notifications.

I receive emails with games that are currently on sale, but don't receive the same notifications on the site.

I noticed this problem yesterday and added more discounted games to my wishlist. Today I also received an email with discounts, and there are still no notifications on the site.

Does anyone else have the same problem?

Nope.
Everything works fine.
I just added the freebie "Signs of the Sojourner: Prologue" to my shopping cart. However, can't complete checkout - the "Pay for your order now" button is grayed out (actually 'greened out').

After repeated attempts to make this work, my "Orders History" page now shows FIVE 'pending' orders for the same game. Each has a "Complete this order" button, which returns me to the unfunctional checkout page.

EDIT: logging out and back in did NOT solve the issue. Checkout still frozen.

In my case, I tried to pay with Paypal and the process could not work, but the game was added to my library nonetheless. And that's what I expected, since it's a recurrent error on GOG when I "buy" stuff that's 0.0 €.
Yes, the check out is frozen, but have you checked if the games has been added to your library anyway?
This is just GOG being GOG.

Try adding a non-free game to cart, then select a (or a different) payment method, then remove the non-free game and try again.

I see. I might try this at some other time in the future, but today for this single particular game, I don't think it's worth the hassle to deal with PayPal / virtual credit cards / re-configuring my payment details back & forth etc.

I did - nothing changed.

Anyway - thx for the help bro !! :))

Yes. Thx for the good suggestion, but my previous reply to @Dogmaus above (about avoiding hassles ...) still applies.

Cheers @Cavalary !!! :))
