eiii: So you got a notification for Johny.'s answer in post 1194 because you were the first in the quote and I did not get one because I only was the second?

And did Lemon_Curry get a notification for that post because he was quoted separately?
No, I didn't because he replied to your post #1190. But I didn't phrase my post #1198 accurately enough.Let's take Johny.'s post #1194. In that post he's quoting you (who are quoting me), and Lemon_Curry. If he used the reply button of your post, then it's you getting the notification. If he used the reply button of Lemon_Curry's post, then it's him that got the notification.

The one getting the notification is the one who's reply button was used to actually post a reply. That's usually the first in a multi-quote post.

OK, I think I get it. :) (as assumed in Edit 2 in post 1197, but not worded properly)

Thanks!

Lemon_Curry: Yeah, it seems to be working just fine now. Thanks Johny. :)

Johny.: LOL :) The fix is not out yet! ;) And I'm not the one doing it, so I'll pass your thanks once it's out. :P

edit: fix is out.
Ha! Okay, so it was just random, buggy behaviour.

And thanks Johny., please do pass it on to the appropriate party! :)

I did get a reply notification for Johny.'s post (#1194). It's possible that he simply replied to my post (#1191) where both of the quotes are included.

Yes, I saw your edit after I hit the post button. Keep in mind that in the Johny.'s post #1194 example, if he had used the reply button of say adaliabboks, then neither you nor Lemon_Curry would have gotten a notification, and it'd have been him instead.

Have your never received a forum notification that turned out to have nothing to do with any of your posts?

Not that I remember. But that does not have to say anything, I also may just have ignored it. ;)
GOG changed Star Control 3 to " Star Control: The Kessari Quadrant".
Due to the space before "Star", it always listed as first game when sorting by title.

Star Control 1+2 also become " Star Control: The Ur-Quan Masters" (Note the space before "Star").

UPDATE
Both bugs have been fixed.

See that span over there? I did not add it.

Hint: It has more to do with line width inside of a tag :P.

Yeah, they have definitely touched something. As I asked yesterday, it seems as if the 10k char limit per post has been reduced too.

PS: I thought allowing multi-line bold tags was something new, but apparently it's only the italic tags that don't work if they're spread among different lines (why, btw?)

When I press reply, the span does not appear in the quoted text, at least not in the source.

With that said, it doesn't look like that last line should be bold, either.

Edit: The result is reproduced inside the quote when I post, but is not present in the source when making or editing the post. How strange.

My point exactly. Something in the forum's post filtering & translation logic is... out of joint.

However, it does appear in the quoted message source if you use BE's quick reply button.

Hmmm, I wonder if using this method generates a reply notification, or it's only if you use the vanilla Reply button... (i.e. dtgreene, did you get a reply notification for this post of mine?)

Yes, I did get a notification for both this post an the previous post.
