metricfun: It's the same kind of incomprehensible error that a quick fix like the 91 mess brought. In my thread I don't use bold, italic or underline in my links and they still are looking like hell. I only use their "url" "/url" tags without nothing fancy and the whole thing looks like... nothing. *shrugs*
If you hover over one of your hyperlinks and take a closer look, the url tags close right before the text, leaving the actual url tag open. For instance, the last part of the entry you've made for Ys SEVEN, has turned into post7108]forum[/url, which not only makes the link look like utter garbage, it also leads to a lovely 404 Error page. Which has happened to many of my own links in the "What did just update" thread.

Is anybody at GOG taking note of all this?

For the Ys Seven mess. The line actually is

Ys Seven -Unofficial: "link to post7108 in the unofficially confirmed thread" forum "closing url tag" and date from the "link to post7237 in the unofficially confirmed thread" forum "closing url tag"-
Edit 3: I have changed this line of text in my post since GOG now has an official page for the game. I do still have the problem with many other links in the same post though.

where " are tags. I tried taking the ":" just after "Unofficial" in case it messed with something, and it changed nothing. That's the extent of the testing I'm doing this time around. Finding the bug like ZFR found the 91 bug would take me my lifetime (and I wouldn't find it).

Edit: The guess I'd make with the errors I have in my thread is that it's related to having two links near one another, but then I don't understand why that'd be.

Edit 2: But then Divinity Original Sin 2 (sep 14 2017) should have the same problem, and it doesn't. Yeah, not a problem I'll solve.

If I use BE quick post, which also quotes your post, it gets even worse:

The first part regarding "forum" shows as: games_that_are_unofficially_confirmed_for_release_in_the_future_part_2/post7108%5Dforum%5B/url

Notice the extra characters in there?

The second part regarding the "date" has the issue I mentioned before.

What's more interesting, though, is that in the BE preview when using GOG's native "reply' button, every link shows as should, i.e. one would expect everything to post fine.

Are you using BE or AF?

I'm sorry, I don't know what you're referring to? Programs? Something else?
Hey, looks like they are finally working on the forum.

So you've blocked 'the user' GOG.com, eh? How rude!

None.

Thanks. :)

BF = Barefoot Essentials
AF = Adalia Fundamentals

These two add functionality to GOG's website. Just search the general discussions forum to find more information.

EDIT: I was a bit late there.

I see others covered it already, but sorry for the late reply nonetheless.

Since you don't use them, you can't see what I'm talking about for yourself. Not that it matters, really.

Funny how one doesn't get the last two when hovering over a user's avatar and going through the list in the drop-down menu.

No problems. Everyone has a life.

I do know about them, but since I don't use them I don't think about their acronyms. Thanks for the information all the same.
The front page's "Popular" tab (after the first 25 places, at the very least) is borked again.

Dare I say that's strange? ;)

Anyway, I wouldn't know as I have yet to block anyone.

Yay, stg83's reputation has finally reached zero! Congratulations! :)

Ah, I hadn't thought of that. I always assumed that one only gets the "due to their or your privacy settings" to keep out any negative vibes about the whole thing.

Almost tempted to block you to see how it works for both the blocker and the blocked one. ;-P
I can't see attachments any longer (instead I get a blank page). Anyone else with that problem?
