It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

GOG just started importing my old PMs into the new chat system but, despite their timestamps being intact, the chatlog is sorted by the time they were inserted into the database rather than the timestamps on the messages themselves.

(In other words, first yesterday's messages, then messages from a month ago, then messages from a few minutes ago... all with accurate and correct timestamps on them to make that blunder clear and obvious to even a complete stranger looking at them.)

Also, regarding 027, here's a useful diagnostic clue:

If you type something into the "All rooms" filter box on Firefox Developer Edition (Aurora) 39.0a2, then clear it, the avatar icons will appear.

UPDATE: ...and once you've done that, if a new username appears in the list without the page being reloaded, the icon will appear properly. (GOG imported some additional chatlogs while I was looking back through an existing one.)

Checking for archive-proofing candidates reminded me of http://www.gog.com/forum/general/bugs_20/ -- presumably this qualifies as the successor thread.

As noted at http://www.gog.com/forum/general/gog_known_issues_wiki_page/post130 I'm unsure of the status of http://www.gogwiki.com/wiki/GOG_Known_Issues

If you type something into the "All rooms" filter box on Firefox 38, then clear it, the avatar icons will appear.

All the messages I exchanged after the Chat system went live with people I had a PM history with are gone for me.

I did noticed for one contact though, that the time stamps are out of place (no date, only HH:MM), though the messages themselves are in the correct chronological order.

Seems like the experience varies among users.

EDIT: I was mistaken, they're placed at the very top, I missed them due to having a lengthy PM history with many.

I can confirm all of this using Firefox 38.0.1 EME-DRM-free build here in Windows 7 64bit. Soon as I typed stuff into the All rooms field and erased it, magically all kinds of shit showed up with avatar icons showing as well. :)
Seems like Chat is broken now. I have a notification that a message is waiting, but when I go to the Chat page I get this:

An error occurred. :(
Please refresh the page or try again later.

I think it's due to bringing back the old messages. Which just did come back for me at least.

I have some strange problem. For favourite topics it does not show me the page number anymore, instead it shows some weird number of posts.
Funny thing is, when I unfavourite the topic it shows again correctly the page numbers but as soon as it goes back to favourite, it shows again this weird number.
Anyone else notice this?

This has always been the case, the forum software does not count the OP towards the total of posts in a thread.

EDIT: oops, just realised what you meant. Yep, favourite threads suddenly show the total of posts instead of pages.

Yeah I know, but that is not the problem ;-) It should show me pages not posts :D

[edit] Ninjad by your edit, so ignore :D

[edit 2] I just supported a ticket about the issue. In my whole time here on gog I did not write as many tickets as in the last week :P

Chat is still screwed for me, though in a different way. Gone is the error message, and in its place is the perpetual spinning circle.

Seamless transition, eh?
