It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Johny.: I can confirm that account dropdown in header and cart are not appearing on forum pages.
We're very sorry for that, it will be fixed 23 November around 10:00 UTC.

Please go to main page to see the account tab and working cart. You can also go directly via link: http://www.gog.com/account
I realize it's the weekend, but I assume your giving that time because that's when the web team will be back in the offices. Seems like this is a pretty significant issue that might hurt GOG's image among new customers checking GOG out for the first time this weekend.

Seems kind of weird that GOG would let these issues go for a few days rather than call someone into work for a few hours to fix them...
You're right guys (smelling devs here :D) - I've already made a fix and tested it in my home but I can't risk deploying to production on the weekend. There's a few reasons for that - as Wishbone have said - unforseen consequences (oh, I knew those words reminds me of something!), possibly much worse than not having account button and user-hover-tooltip on forums.

It shouldn't break in the first place though, so I'm very sorry for that.

Well if you tested it out of the GOG building, it should work! ;-D

Fingers crossed this was the last time. Cheers for keeping us updated.

Really great that you already made a fix on your weekend! Thanks. Can't wait for it to be applied :P

You can never be sure what works and what doesn't in the warped reality that is GOG.com's office. It's like another dimension where rules of our world do not apply. ;-p

Oh, they'll break things again sooner rather than later. World needs it's universal constants you know. XD
Missing account button and user tooltip issues are fixed.

Yay! The forums went crazy for a little. Everyone was panicking for not seeing their "Account" button. I even prepared water and food supplies just for that. End of the world avoided. Good job!

You're missing a little context here. My comment to Joyny. was in relation to his comment here [emphasis added]:
What's more weird it doesn't happen to me in GOG building ( :D:D ) on osx, only on my private ubuntu. :)
You have no idea how many times GOG Support has told me "we can't reproduce this, so it must be some weirdness at your very own end". So, my point was not that it'll work within the warped reality that is GOG.com's office (of which I'm very well aware ;-P), but that it should work in the reality the rest of us live in and interact with, his private system included. :-)

It would be interesting to know which kind of computers the GoG team uses. Maybe it`s something that we wouldn`t recognize as computers. :-)
Now I have a forum reply notification that won't disappear from the account menu.

What are they building in there? We have a right to know.

I don`t know what I just saw and heard, but it left behind some strange lovecraftian feeling.

Had that one earlier too...it took its time but vanished eventually...

They can't say it openly but it is obvious they want us to move in, hence "the bug". One big happy family.
