a shout out to ddickinson, sage103082, ragnar, getcomposted, marianne, tarnicus and trentonlf for being horrible. as in horribly awesome. They have all done something these past couple weeks that have reminded me of what great people we have in this community. I needed some smiles, and they provided. :)

All right, the sappy stuff is over, go back to eating your candy and scaring small children.

Finally, a list of all the truly horrible people on the forum. Although I think there are a few names missing, including that most horribly awesome lady, Crewdroog. Possibly one of the most horrible the forum has ever know, always around spreading her joy and sharing her many boxes of goodies and glitter (you rock!) :-).

Okay, now I'm going back to my bathtub of chocolate and scaring little children.
A quick thank you to Getcomposted for gifting me a game that I've been trying to get for a while now. Cheers! :)

I would like to thank the most loveliest and bestest American girl I have ever met. For gifting me some games for my birthday, even thought I asked her not to ;-). But most importantly I would like to thank you for our many wonderful conversations, and for being such a good friend to talk to. You really are such a kind and wonderful woman, and I feel very privileged to have been given the chance to get to know you. You rock!
I would ike thank ddickinson for two awesome giveaway threads, not just because I won something, but even more for the interesting discussions and the fun and hilarity.
And thanks too to all the participants that kept the discussions civil and the humour going and the many people that provided input for the surveys. Very interesting!

Wow, thank you. I'm glad others found them fun and interesting as well. I would also like to thank everyone who took part and who helped to keep the two giveaways civilised and fun. I learnt a lot about the gamers here on GOG, the guys and the girls. I will admit that I did the giveaway mainly for the girls, but the guys was very interesting as well. Although your sleepover was kind of dull compared to the ladies :-).

Now I'm off to think of another interesting theme for my next giveaway...

I really enjoyed the Nation Giveaways, are you planning to do more of those?

Indeed I am, in fact I was going to start them up again later this week. I had a small break from them while I did some other giveaways, as I don't like to have too many giveaways running at once.

Awesome news on the GAs, looking forward to posting and reading more about various nations.

Well I tried to liven things up at our sleepover, aided and abetted by a few fellow...fellows!
Gonna leave my thanks to DampSquib here, too.

First: he made me a beautiful gift, truly unexpected and quite generous.

Second: he gave me something to play 'til December (too much free time right now, as my master classes are covering only three days of the week and i'm "between jobs" right now). Finally, i get to play NWN 2: Complete and replay IW 1 and 2.

Third: i want to leave my best wishes for him and my hopes that he gets better (i understand he has some health issuer).

And fourth: ddickinson might want to add him to her therapy group, along with trentonlf:)

Sorry, could not help it:)
I think that a lot of us turn to games as a way to cope with our assorted health problems; it really does help a lot!

Now I've just got to convince the IRS that my games are medical expenses... ;D

I have several new people to thank (or at least new reasons!) at the moment. CarrionCrow ninja-gifted me the #1 game on my wishlist, and the banter between him, LynetteC, HypersomniacLive, ddickenson, Foxworks, and IamSinistar (among others) in the big fall sale thread have been highly entertaining. XD
MaGo72 just hosted a contest with Zafehouse Diaries as the prize, and I was completely enraptured (so to speak) with the gameplay video he posted, so was very excited to see the results. Turns out that I totally missed where the winner was announced (*^_^*), but upon seeing my excitement, MaGo72 sent me a copy to play with, too!

I can't tell you how excited I am to be able to play this game! (I know, I get excited about the strangest things... lol~ )

Please give MaGo72 a much-deserved +1 for his giveaway, and his extra kindness in gifting an extra copy HERE.

I'd also like to thank misteryo for messaging me with some game information he thought I'd like, and adambiser for the unexpected gift of Mind: Path to Thalamus, which I'm guessing he saw on my wishlist :D

I would like to give a shoutout of gratitude to budejovice for really surprising me with a wonderfully thoughtful and generous gift. Even after an year on the forum I am constantly flabbergasted by the genuine kindness of the many amazing members of this outstanding community.

Please give a well deserved +1 to budejovice, because he has really been a wonderful presence on the forum and also made my end of the year truly joyous. :)
A thank you to DampSquib for the gifting to me of Locomotion. My father always loved to play Locomotion and would play it with me. My father passed in 2008 so even typing this chokes me up. I can not thank him enough.
