Fictionvision: Wake up, Turok is $12.99!
avatar
mkess: I would only pay 2 Euro for it. Who the hell made this price.
Turok is a licensed product. That means besides Night Dive another party demands a cut. On top of that the coders Night Dive hired for this remastered port.

With all of this in consideration, it's really not that high of a price. PC gamers have just become spoiled.

DocMemory: Paypal isn't a bad option if I remember to throw some cash in there before the sale starts so a heads up before it starts would be very helpful for doing that too.
You don't have a PayPal Credit account?

omega64: You do realize the remaster is relatively new?
It is still very much over priced.
Fantastic sale but the usual problem remains of getting a game you have already.

What would be the best fix besides gifting option is
1. Store credit is given instead of the code to gift the game if you already have it. This way you can use it for something you do want.
In the last Insomnia sale, there was a chance that when we went to buy a game, it might end up free instead. Is that happening again? Or has it been replaced by the buy 10 games, get 1 free thing?

I agree on that note. :P
Perhaps it's due to the comic license?
Tried to click on Ethan Carter. Couldn't.

KHAAAAAAAAAAAAAN!!!
avatar
PincushionMan: Ethan Carter game is $5 now.
vanished :)

j0ekerr: There seems to be a definite slowdown on the already seen games.
Not by much though.

Hunie Pop is back again, now somebody explain to me how does that count as simulation?!
well, maybe cause fapping is simulation of a coitus

I think they have a right to charge a higher price but it's just a little too far over.
Oh GOD no, not the Insomnia sale!!!! XD

mkess: And yes, nudity is far less a problem here in germany than brutality. Maybe they should use the same scale for games as for movies. They aren't so different. They are both art.
avatar
MarkoH01: This goes a bit OT but since the games are already repeating: even if they would treat games like art we (Germans) still would have problems with violence the same we have already with movies (BPJM, Index ect.). What you might mean is that having things like swastikas in games would not be a problem if the games were treated like art (which at the moment is not the case).
Yes, you are right. It's the problem with the swastikas, that I don't like in censoring. For gods sake, I like to shoot nazis in the face. So please let them be some. ;) What is wrong with that? I had real problems to buy the original version of Wolfenstein: New order and get it up and running.

And why? Because somebody decided to let things of the past not IN the past, where they belong.

tinyE: Okay I'm done. Snagged four games and I'm getting tired.

If Turok shows up for less that $12 give me a call. :P

Fictionvision: Wake up, Turok is $12.99!
So it's not what tinyE was waiting for.

Can you slap the web designer in the face for me ?

Why oh why can't I just simply middle-click a game image in the insomnia sale to load another browser tab, and if I click, I can't even see the game's page with all the informations about the game, I have to actually search the game name on the website. Therefore, I'm gone elsewhere without encouraging your sale.
Already have the games that interest me, decided to get Block'Hood instead, been eyeing that game for a while now.

I hope there will be more classics on sale during the week, certainly wouldn't mind picking up some more Age of Wonder and Might & Magic games, or perhaps they are saving the oldies for the weekend.

I have to say, its very fascinating to see which games get sold super-fast and which struggle to sell well.
