ReynardFox: ...and now not even refreshing is giving me the banner, I just missed three games in a row not knowing what they were >:(
Same here. Some games sold out before the image could reload for me to see it. GOG needs a better way to do this.

Titanium: His grandma knows a guy.

Neverfree: I like where this is going
He heard from his uncle that works in nintendo

ReynardFox: Holy crap, hit refresh and 2 new pages of posts suddenly appear.
avatar
ymgve: Seems like they're doing really aggressive caching of the forums. Guess the sale has increased the traffic load a lot.
You'd think they wouldn't have this problem again seeing as how it's happened several times over the years. :\

darthspudius: Refreshing the game is becoming a problem. Most of the games have sold 75% by the time I see what it is. Nothing wrong with my internet either.
same here , 3 browsers tried, all the same its a mess...
its too fast...

i pass on this one....
june/july is the begin of summer? i hope for a summersale or winter sale
The idea of the sales is very cool, orginal and fun in away, too abd i am too old and i lag all the time, and its not my isp.
My connection is good, its just laggy somehow...
Anyway have to eat something now
This is pretty blink and you miss it. I don't even know what one of the sales was because I couldn't get it to load and it vanished in a minute seemingly.
I particularly like how, even if you try to load the image in its own page, you still get a 504 gateway timeout.

Would a text box be so hard? It's a little tricky to guess the game based on the price and discount level.
Okay, refreshing again now shows the Shadows Heretic Kingdoms image.

At only 40% off, though, the game isn't moving too fast.

popperik: Image reload bug still here.

Also, how the heck do I get to the game's page? I wanna check it quickly before I decide.
+1 for the image reloading bug

your only option is to search for the game I think, since they have not made the game image clickable (someone said its maybe on purpose in tone with the promotion)
Thread is loading for me now after a 22 minute blackout. Wow
Shadows REALLY couldn't come below 40%? Okay then

Neverfree: I like where this is going
I think there's a giant coconut crab and a speculum involved in this story.

tomba4: Um, no way to see a game description before buying?
That would be so great. Now I have to open another tab just to search for the game and see the game description. GOG should add a fast link to the description in case they want to sell games that are not that well known to everybody.

Sure, click on the item to buy it, copy / paste the text into the search box, go to the page, have a quick look then back to front page to see you've missed it and the next game is up. Well, that's what I've been doing anyway.

22 minutes? Ouch :/

Anime-BlackWolf: There are NO Pictures appearing. WHEN they appear, the game is mostly sold out. What have you done to your software? Last sales went normal...

I think I will buy nothing in this sale, only because of this anoying problems... :(
yes, the idea is a gem but somehow it does not work, i am not able to get anything, by the time i arrive at the checkout many games have past, sometimes it looks okay, 1,2,3,4 but then vroom 70 or more procent gone in 2 seconds (on my watch) i pass...

Gonna wait for the default summers/winter sales ...
