op2017: I am waiting for only one game ...
Well, you now have everyone's attention. Should we play some horns or gong drums before the announcement?
OH NO, OUR STOCK OF FREEBIES JUST GOT WOLFED DOWN.

wtf? GOG reneging on their word, so we don't get the freebie after buying X games in the insomnia sale?

Really???!

It was in the Sale FAQ the whole time that they might run out of freebies.

Just buy another game and pretend someone gifted it you. Pretending that people like you is an important key to good mental health.
Wow.
The games have been practically flying off the "shelves" for a good hour or so. Go, insomnia, go!

Who knows ... it can happen, that the sale ends in about 1 hour and 27 minutes (12h CET). Or at 15h CET.

Or it can last the whole weekend and beyond.

Thistler: Anyone know if Pillers of Eternity has finished?
avatar
Laberbacke: How would we? My crystal ball is in the shop for the annual check-up.
Dude that is bad timing, next year wait for the sale
avatar
ggf162: Amazing, there's a limited number of PRE-ORDERS too
avatar
SeduceMePlz: All three "New on GOG" games were already released elsewhere... so I imagined they were being offered as some kind of (stupid) "play it before other GOGers" gimmick. Are they actually discounted preorders for the GOG release?

Seems odd. You buy without knowing when GOG is going to release the games? Or is it supposed to be assumed they'll release them at the end of the sale?
You can just download and play them the moment you've bought them.

From what I've been told.

The saddest part is that it's entirely true.
Which makes it tragically funny.

So for some reason my main page tab was scrolled down.
When I went back to it I didn't see the insomnia deal and for a second before I noticed I thought... "WTF GOG?!

Yep.
And you can also buy them just normally if you did not get them in the sale, since they are released, just did not get any official news post yet:

Yup, didn't want to them them at a discount though.
Definitely skipping on paying full price. :P

You can. I have J.U.LI.A. installed (haven't had a chance to play yet). I had to download it through Galaxy though as the GOG downloader links weren't up at the time. I'm on my tablet so I can't check just now to see if that's changed.

I tried Jotun and Subterrain via goglinks earlier today and both came up with a 404 error...

Just checked. ALL 3 still 404.
Come on GOG if your going to sell new games at least get the fricking links working. NO i dont want to download via Galaxy.

Im confused. Should these games be actually available for download at all?.
