Siegor: I just tried it and it stayed the same. Shows up as order pending though.

apehater: there's a lag of some seconds till the number goes down
I think that lag is the time it takes for people to checkout.
Cool, Alliance.

Had that sombitch on my wish list forever and I finally have it. Own the disc but it doesn't work for shit.

The problem with the disc is going to be the 16-bit installer (the game is 32-bit, though). Someone made a replacement installer for it to allow you to install the game on newer Windows, and I did try it and it worked. However, I ended up buying the GOG version at a later date because it has a number of fixes already applied saving me from having to keep a list of them and how to apply them. Plus not having to insert a CD is preferred.

So the GOG version works pretty good?

Yeah I re bought them all on GOG too because of that and the more pressing fact that I don't have a CD/DVD drive in my PC build anymore. No need for discs ever again :)

Yeah, does for me. It has a starfield fix and the font fix to resolve the issue with nvidia GPUs.

The reason it lags is check it checks this url every 3 seconds. Showing the number in realtime would cause huge server load.

Edit: fixed some spellings.

But it appears to lag longer than that, and for more popular games, goes down quite quickly after the initial 6 or 9 second delay. Hence my belief it's relying on actual sales and not clicks.
I still think they need a last c hance sale ....
