omega64: I somehow connected Fables with a tv show with a similar premise, Once upon a Time I think?
I think Fables predates that one, by quite a bit too. Let's check what wikipedia has to say.

saberstorm11: 2 left, whats it gonna be
Metro.
shame i already have metro
27 copies?
I think that means the sale is on its last legs.

Last chance for Metro Redux pack.

And it's gone!

I've clicked on it, but haven't completed it yet.

I think I'll wait for TWAU.

I believe Fables pre-dates all the "twisted fairy tale" tv and movie stuff we've seen recently. The concept was quite creative when they did it (not new, but not commonly seen either).
ANd bam GOG hits me with a whislisted game (rebel galaxy)....now i had to buy it. XD

Yeah, pretty sure the comics predate that show.

Konrad: Gawd I hope I didn't miss anyone here.

If you should have gotten a freebie before we officially changed the message on the front page (around 10:20 PM GMT), please let our support team know and we'll set things right. It seems that the end of the freebies got pretty buggy.
Thanks for the heads up. I'll get the process started.

Also, I can't speak for the others, but I didn't see that you had replied to me. It might be because someone else replied to another of my posts later, though. Just an FYI.

Bookwyrm627: Funny you should mention that. It was Jack Keane 2 that was the big problem.
avatar
zlep: Nothing wrong with the second one, either. It was just new and on a small discount, surrounded by known classics at super-cheap prices.

Besides, as forum meta-gaming goes, the Keaning was a tonne of fun. ^_^
True, mocking Keane's longevity was (and still is) kind of fun. :D

I was completely chuffed when Telltale announced they were making The Wolf Among Us based on it. It was an insta-buy for me.

Naturally I haven't played it yet. I could never have developed a backlog as comprehensive as I have if I actually played the games. ^_^

Actually I wouldn't be surprised if the Fables comic helped introduce that trend.
Half of Hollywood/TV writers are comic-book nerds.
The other half are social butterflies who can't write a line, but are extemely good at taking credit.

Next up is adventure.
Let's see what the dice give us.

Speak of the zombie, and it shall appear...
the walking stiffies (dead)...hmpf like the discount not the game
TWD, the second part of which I once called "kick the player in the guts simulator". Goes from bad to worse in the first couple of minutes, and it's all downhill from there.
Hurm, another oddly numbered deal.
I think we're on the last legs of the sale.
We shouldn't be getting any new games today.
And get TWD while you can.
never really understood the appeal of zombie games ...just me though
