The post says that the Insomnia sale will last till all the copies run out. And the FAQ says that the number of freebies is limited and ''might'' run out.

But isn't kinda given that the freebies will definitely run out unless you assume that most people only buy very few games?

Well, the freebees running out before day 3 is over is kinda eh.

They should go for plan B, offer No Man's Sky! ;-)

Habanerose: Try contacting Support about it. Maybe they can work something out.

jseeley150: Hope so. I contacted support two hours ago after my "few hours" elapsed and haven't heard back.
Guess it's because it's after midnight in Poland now, so unlikely much of their staff is still around.

Guess you might have to wait until tomorrow to hear back from them...
And since gog didn't make it painfully obvious, please do click the "learn more" buttons. I haven't checked to see if they also email the codes, but i got my redeem codes from there (since i didn't quite understand how on earth it worked, i couldn't figure out if they just auto added it or gave you a code at first).

flammenbringer: Come on guys, aren't the dicounts "freebie" enough? Fairly new games that have an 80% discount?!
avatar
Fogamer: Nobody would have complained if they hadn't advertised it. Promising free stuff although they know they are already out (well, their database knows, at least) is nothing but betrayal.

It's not about losing a free gift worth just some bucks... you're absolutely right, compared to what we saved during the sale it's neglectable. But it's about GOG making false promises and breaking our trust.
Well, I understood the "till the games run out" for the freebies as well. So I don't feel betrayed. Guess there are some advantages to not being a native speaker... ;)

If I'm not allowed to sleep in an insomnia sale, neither are they. :) (just kidding)

kohlrak: The whole freebie sale had a weird setup. Seemed fairly glitchy, but i didn't want to say anything if i was wrong. I had like 3 games to go, bought 1 (wasn't a bundle) and got a freebie. My second freebie came with like 5 to go. Moreover, the "to go counts" were supposed to drop with each successive freebie (10, 8, 5), but after my second freebie, the counter went to 8.

I will say, it's entertaining to watch people's choices. Favorite thing to watch was hunnypop where no one clicked it for a minute or two, but as soon as 1 did, like 5 or 10 seconds later it was gulped up. I'd love to see stats on how long certain games took to sell (divided by the totals that is since some games had higher totals than others).
Actually 8 is the correct number...
Was supposed to be 10,9,8,7,6,5 then 5 until the end.

Fogamer: Well, for me there is no "Check Progress" button. When I reached 10 games, the counter went back to 9 and that's it.
Clicking on "more info" just shows a lock symbol under the counter, no button.

Either it's some technical glitch (hope so), or some serious rip-off by GOG... if they are really already "out of freebies", but still claiming that I can get one if I continue buying, that would by HIGHLY immoral (and probably even illegal in most parts of the world).
It is labeled "Learn More", not "Check Progress".

In any event, looks like the message has changed. No more freebies for buying certain amounts of games.
I'm playing Never Alone right now... it's a really artistic game and less movie-like than I thought.

Yeah, my first redeem code shows up there, but my second one that should have shown up almost 5 hours ago hasn't. And for a very short time it showed I had 3 to go for my third, but was acting as if it would be my second.
It seems like a joke to me, since I bought Wolf among us, and the message I now get is "Oh no, our stock of freebies just got wolfed down."

Yeah, i had a similar problem, except in the opposite direction. I'm guessing in the fact that the deals weren't limited to their number (if you clicked it, the counter wouldn't go down, but you were allowed to keep that deal even if someone took the last one while you were in the transaction process), somehow the numbers would end up getting lost. Very clearly some technical errors going on, but you likely won't see anyone (other than me) who won out of the error saying anything, since we won and we don't want to drag attention to ourselves.
I'm going to have to settle for that age-old free game, I suppose:

"Punching my monitor in frustration"
Meh, this whole limited amount thing and "get a freebie after 10 games" is just to get you to buy more and faster without giving you time to think anyways. There's probably a few games I would have left for later if I wasn't trying to get to 10. Good tactics on their behalf but with the freebies gone I kinda feel cheated...

I only played that one once, and it was the most expensive game I ever played. I try very hard to avoid playing it nowadays.
