Looks like our blue friends underestimated the popularity of this sale.

Restock the freebies and more than 10-12 new games per day could help a lot~
Of course GoG could just give out copies of the Witcher if they really wanted.
So... does that mean, that even though I qualified for a free game, and have been waiting patiently for my code, I just got screwed?
Kinda disappointed, one game shy and then this happens. :/

arxon: No more freebies? Seriously you're telling me that when I'm just 1 game away from it? :(

EvilCarrot: Same here, this sucks...
Come on guys, aren't the dicounts "freebie" enough? Fairly new games that have an 80% discount?!

And thanks @nightshade2013 for the info.

MrDrWatson: Well but my freebie should have appeared half an hour ago...and didn't.

Habanerose: Try contacting Support about it. Maybe they can work something out.
Hope so. I contacted support two hours ago after my "few hours" elapsed and haven't heard back.
No more freebies?? Oh well, I was still at 3\10..
Man, I feel bad for those whom were trying to get the free game just for them to run out. However, they seemed to have covered themselves for this possibility.

"Keep in mind that the stock of free games is limited. However unlikely, it's possible they may run out. Additionally, only games that are part of the Insomnia Sale lineup count towards your total. "

Perhaps if I didn't already have some of my purchases on Steam and just wanted a DRM free copy. But it's okay, Gog's refund policy will make it right if nothing else does.

Edit: That being said, Gog has always been pretty cool, so I'm pretty sure it'll get resolved. It would just be nice to see something official about those of us that have been waiting for over four hours due to what appears to be a bug.

And I have a few kids that fight over my Steam Family Share, so that's why I like to get the Gog version when I can. I've been picking up a lot of the newer titles that have only recently been available on Gog that I already have on Steam. But the deals haven't been good enough to give up promised incentives.

Well that sucks, but I don't think I would have been able to find enough games I legitimately wanted to get a freebie anyway. I got a few good games that I've been waiting for at good prices, so I'm happy.

I will admit that I didn't like this Insomnia sale nearly as much at any rate, though.

not really since this is sale discount. I mean I just assumed that the freebies are unlimited, like during any other sale the free game(s) you got for buying over certain amount were.

Nobody would have complained if they hadn't advertised it. Promising free stuff although they know they are already out (well, their database knows, at least) is nothing but betrayal.

It's not about losing a free gift worth just some bucks... you're absolutely right, compared to what we saved during the sale it's neglectable. But it's about GOG making false promises and breaking our trust.
Will there be more games added? Or can I go to sleep?

Was wondering the same thing...

Bought some gift codes for future gifting to hit the goal.

Funny thing is some people were still getting codes when my last one didn't update. I got a Gogbear at the end of payment. Game made it to my account but no freebie.
The whole freebie sale had a weird setup. Seemed fairly glitchy, but i didn't want to say anything if i was wrong. I had like 3 games to go, bought 1 (wasn't a bundle) and got a freebie. My second freebie came with like 5 to go. Moreover, the "to go counts" were supposed to drop with each successive freebie (10, 8, 5), but after my second freebie, the counter went to 8.

I will say, it's entertaining to watch people's choices. Favorite thing to watch was hunnypop where no one clicked it for a minute or two, but as soon as 1 did, like 5 or 10 seconds later it was gulped up. I'd love to see stats on how long certain games took to sell (divided by the totals that is since some games had higher totals than others).
