Maxvorstadt: And I`m also wondering if there are some wallpapers in realistic resolutions, since I doubt that anyone has such a high resolution on his desktop!

ValamirCleaver: Doubt no more, I have an 8GB Radeon R9 390 outputting to the 3840x2160 native resolution of my 32" Acer B326HK UHD monitor. I can run any game I own at my desktop resolution with all the effects & details at max, it looks beautiful.
Yikes! A graphics card with 8 GB? Really?

henke: Bought my 19 game 20 minutes ago but did not get a freebie, have they given away all the freebies?
avatar
Bellower: I've noticed this too and as usual, during this and other sales i've shown a shameful lack of self control over my disposable income: resulting in an ever increasing backlog.

Would very much like to know where my free games have disappeared to, (not that I actually need them.)
Heh, I'm right there with you. A sad thing for me is that I've got a 500 game backlog on Steam of games that I really want to play, and I'm up to almost 100 backlogged games on GOG. I was doing so well in January and February, too. This Spring sale just happened to hit while I was having a series of bad days, so I have to dream about how awesome these games might be if I ever actually play them.

Thought their counter is not working. Switched from 2 more to buy to 5 for me. Guess they ran out of freebies... ;)
Not many games left which haven't appeared since the usual GoG day break:

 HuniePop USD 3.99 (USD 9.99) [60%] (25 copies)
Kerbal Space Program USD 23.99 (USD 39.99) [40%] (40 copies)
 Terraria USD 1.99 (USD 9.99) [80%] (25 copies)
 The Dig® USD 1.49 (USD 5.99) [75%] (50 copies)
 Titan Souls USD 3.79 (USD 14.99) [75%] (25 copies)
 Turok USD 12.99 (USD 19.99) [35%] (20 copies)
 Windward USD 4.99 (USD 14.99) [67%] (25 copies)
Ys VI: The Ark of Napishtim USD 5.99 (USD 19.99) [70%] (25 copies)

I suspect these are likely to come up soon.
This sale is a great marketing move by GOG. I have bought some bargins...but probably games under normal circumstances I wouldn't buy...but seeing the counter going down on games I am vaguely interested in...the temptation is too much at times. :-)

P.S. I didn't even know the sale was on until I fired up GOG Galaxy to play a game....and have been checking the sale instead of playing the game. ha ha.

Ha ha...I thought my backlog was bad, but is insignificant to yours! :-) Now that I am retired I hope to be able to play my backlog...but it just seems to be increasing....and this sale isn't helping! :-)

Expecting that LoG 2 will not come to visit us soon. Giving him last chance otherwise will wait for different sale, since from tomorrow will have limited access to net..

My only solace is that I have kids, and they play my games via Steam Family share and my Gog games. I seem to live my game playing fantasies vicariously through them. :)

Due to the current console generations 8GB unified Ram you need all the VRam you can get. The consoles have 8GB of VRam and CPU Ram combined. We PC users do not. That's why the current console ports need allot of Ram.
is the game of thrones the full season pack or just the primary game?

Full season.
Well, I did it! :-)

I happened to have the J.U.L.I.A. shop page open in a spare tab (just edited the 'coming_soon' bit off the end of the Coming Soon link - thanks whoever it was suggested that this afternoon) to see how much it would be selling for when it was officially released. Came back from making a cup of coffee and there it was on the sale banner with all 25 copies still available! Quick change of tabs, stuck it in my basket and checked out before y'all nabbed them.

Thanks to Foxworks for putting ideas of 'Myst-like' and 'puzzles' in my head, I just couldn't resist! lol Only thing is, there are no GOG downloader links yet. I'm guessing those will go up once the game is officially released. Right now, I'm waiting on Galaxy to finish migrating data so that I can install it and have a play.

Really, I got it as part of a new PC build 6 months ago.

I'm seeing that people are still getting their freebies. I got my first freebie when I bought my 9th game (and it said I still needed one more purchase for a freebie). I thought it was weird, but thought maybe I got the freebie for buying Subterrain since it was a brand new game on Gog. Bought another game, and then the free game that was emailed to me showed up in my redeem freebie list.

When I got down to my 2nd freebie, I was down to 3 left for the freebie, and I bought the Broken Sword pack because I heard those are awesome and "must play". That took me down past 0 for my 2nd freebie, which I didn't receive. I bought a couple more games toward my 3rd freebie, and still haven't received the 2nd.

Now, since some people are still getting their freebies, and others aren't, for the people that aren't did you purchase a multi-pack that took you past your "zero left" threshold? It's totally rookie, but a common programming mistake in situations like this would be to check for the purchases remaining = 0 instead of <= 0 ... or maybe the rules changed after the code was implemented so originally a = 0 was always correct, but later when they made packs count for more than one game it invalidated the freebie check?
you're missing a freebie, I'm missing a game..
