Don't fall asleep, don't look away… heck, just give up blinking.
Prepare yourselves a cauldron of hot coffee and stock up on eyedrops! Our infamous Insomnia Sale returns with a relentless stream of limited-quantity deals, one game after the other, nonstop until the games run out. Or the sheep doze off.

We've been studying your valuable feedback on this annual event, including comments like "AAAAARRRRGHHHHHH!!!" and "Please, why won't you let me sleep?!". We took them to heart and decided that what you guys are saying is that you need more gaming stimulants to fight away sleepiness. Worry not, we're here to help.

You lucky Insomniacs will also be treated to a number of games never before seen on GOG.com as well as the best-ever deal on our crowning jewel - The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt (-50% after the recent price drop, that's $24.99 in the USA).

If you want to learn more about the intricacies behind this whole science of non-sleep, check out the promo FAQ. But don't dally there too long, because games will start disappearing before your bloodshot eyes!

The GOG.com Insomnia Sale starts Monday, March 21, 2:00 PM GMT and will run until the limited-quantity deals run out.

While counting sheep and game deals, make sure to also drop by our imgur page and grab your Insomnia wallpapers.

Great to see that insomnia is back (even though it#s bad for my health and my wallet). Would somebody please point me to the tracking thread which might already be there?

Majnun: But having a limited quantity sale with only 40% off is BULLSHIT. Really, 40% off? Kiss my ass.
Agreed, the discounts so far were nothing to get terribly excited about. The average weekend sale has more tempting discounts than that.
So small quantities of not very good deals on a barely partially working site.
Yeah great...

PaterAlf: I like the background picture with the coffee-drinking sheep. Can we get it as a wallpaper, please?

Maighstir: EDIT: Also, the actual page background is this one.
Uncompressed version

EDIT: wow, took a few minutes for this post to show up, I almost re-posted it

*sigh*. I miss when places would do actual sales instead of this "insomnia sale" stuff. Oh well, suits me. I'm broke.

EDIT: BTW, GOG, I'd be more apt to participate in random games promotions if you'd fix the catalog. Every time I try one, I end up emailing support because I get a game I already have [some other edition of].

This is nothing. Just wait until Jack Keane 2 shows up.
NOOOOO~

Not this madness again.

Oh well, nice background art once again. Will they be available as wallpapers again? You guys should start keeping a gallery or something like that, so people can view and download all the art from the past sales.
i noticed sale right now. is there any usual list of gone games made already??????

any old ones go too?
Either GOG's image servers are severely lagging or my connection is. By the time that friggin title image is loaded, at least half the games are gone. Yeah... no.

It's evil and cruel but it also is a lot of fun. Prepare for some loooong nights :)
