xep624: Pillars of Eternity - that reminds me that over 2 years after KS campaign I should start playing this great game sooner or later...
avatar
j0ekerr: I know that feel bro.
One of the very first things I got here was the D&D bundle.
I should start playing those sometime soon.
Too many good games are out - more time is what we all need !
One more Kerbal Kopy

Niggles: Titan Quest confirmed!! ;)

Us Aussies got caught napping and most of us missed the first 6 hours of the sale :/
avatar
Southpawe: Not to worry, the games that were available 6 hours ago are remarkably similar to the ones on sale now.
Really? because as I've stated I've had a tab of this open all day at work here and have yet to see the enhanced D&D collection again over the last 6 or so hrs. (I only even know it was apparently present - no doubt at something like 3am - in the first place due to the reddit thread and listing)
That was weird. While I was away, I told myself that I'd finally pick up Kerbal Space Program, after much delay and laziness.

Then when I get home this morning, guess which game is still on the sale on the front page.

Kerbal Space Program.

Some crazy synchronicity action up in this area.

If I look at my backlog, I don't need to buy new games for the rest of my life. Why am I doing this?

Andremop: 1 - Yeah, gonna have to use paypall next time Kyrandia shows up, or sleep, whichever comes first. Thanks!

2 - You're completely accurate. I know the procedures, it happened to me two times before already when I donated money to Wikipedia and again when I donnated to Mozilla. I'm waiting for the bank phone call to make me prove that I'm me. Guess they're polite enough to not call in the middle of the night.
When it has happened for me, my card company usually calls me anywhere from 30 seconds to 5 minutes after I do a transaction at any time of day. My sleep cycle is totally random so I think they might have that on file now. :)

MINE!
That cookie looks happier to be identified than your cat (I couldn't tell if it was part of a witness protection program, or just unimpressed by the camera.)

Wow, someone in the world finally understands that many people have monitors with a higher resolution than 1024x768, but also that some people belong to the "16:10 Aspect Ratio Master Race(TM)"!

I couldn't help but notice that the second image you posted on imgur is 3840x2400 which would be a 4k monitor at 16:10 aspect ratio. The best aspect ratio. The aspect ratio of champions. The aspect ratio of the Master Race! :)

This has been one of the big holdout reasons why I'm enthusiastic about what the prospect of 4k displays bring to the table but am hesitant to become a member of that club so far, because other than ancient unsuitable 4k displays made 15 or so years ago by IBM, I have not seen any 4k displays made to date in the golden 16:10 aspect ratio at 3840x2400, just the "commoner" type 4k displays at 16:9 (3840x2160).

Does... this... mean... some company out there is making professional 4k 16:10 Master Race(TM) displays at 3840x2400 now which have somehow slipped under my nose? :)

Serious question! My wallet is tingling at anticipation of moving from 2560x1600(16:10) to 3840x2400(16:10)! Don't tease! :)

It might, Not entirely sure as I've never had a real interest in the D&D bundles.

Aren't you a bit over the top. I think 16:10 is the resolution everybody uses today. At least, I hope so.
