rebellion: It's possible that they are only allowed to sell X amount of game Y.
This was confirmed fairly early on in another insomnia i think. Sell X amount of game Y @ Z price

Shiny!
After the first Insomnia sale years ago, I have to admit that I'm not a fan of the strategy but it doesn't bother me either. GOG has done a number of things to improve it over time to make the painful aspects less so, so that is good. I like the fact that now the game count is much lower per game seeming to favour more frequent rollover with more repetition than hour+ long stalemates, which are just not very Keane <cough cough>.

Surprisingly, I just discovered the sale is on right now so I've fallen asleep at the wheel all day it would seem. :)

I've been keeping an eye out for Star Wars X-Wing alliance which semes to have whizzed by at least once, but while the upside of the shorter game quantity counts is that games don't stall the sale, but the downside is if you turn your head for 30 seconds you might miss a game you're keeping your eyes peeled for too. I guess that's all part of the fun of these Insomnia sales though eh? ;oP

On the upside though too, it probably means they're going to recycle the games more than 3 times each as it was in past sales so there may be more opportunities to connect but with smaller time windows. Either way, it's an interesting experiment!

Andremop: Did 3 sequential purchases with my credit card and was about to do a 4th, but it failed, card is now blocked.

I guess someone at the bank thinks I'm a credit card hacker or something. I can't do a thing until morning... and I want Kyrandia!!
I read something similar happening to other people in this very thread. Their interrim solution was to use paypal.
I'd advise you to do the same.
Also could it be possible to go to the game's page by clicking on it instead of it being added to the cart?

xep624: Pillars of Eternity - that reminds me that over 2 years after KS campaign I should start playing this great game sooner or later...
I know that feel bro.
One of the very first things I got here was the D&D bundle.
I should start playing those sometime soon.

Nope, might've been a conscious choice due to the ridiculously limited copies each time. :P

Here's the reddit list of games that have been seen in rotation.

skeletonbow: ...
Some games have already been out as much as five times (possibly more), others as little as 3.
I wanted to get Two Worlds II (don't judge me!) and I literally missed it while taking a leak.

There are at least two potential problems at play. One is that if your purchases here (or anywhere else) are at times of the day, or show other forensic characteristics that differ greatly from how you normally use your cards, or show forensically patternic behaviour similar to fraud and other abuse, the security measures at a given bank/card company may kick in preemptively to prevent potential fraud. The second issue is that GOG uses a payment processor in Cyprus and it is just a coincidence that a lot of fraud scams also move money through Cyprus, so many banks/card companies will freeze cards that have unexpected transactions going through Cyprus if they're not aware that they are legitimate ahead of time.

The simple solution to both problems if your card company does not call you first, is to call your card company and talk to their security department and let them know that purchases made through GOG.com are legitimate and that they could happen sporadically at any time of day and in any number from time to time during sales promotions. Ask them to put GOG.com on your security whitelist to not trigger false alarms and they should be able to do this for you likely. I had to do this with my card once and have never had any problems since.
What might be the chance that new games occur? I am waiting for MDK 2 and Redneck Rampage Collection, but they have not been there yet...

That's silly: it makes the person LOSE time by doing a research first...
