It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Can be anything; the servers or slowdown on one of the nodes between the server and you, your own network/router, or your computer...

In most cases it's locally.

No problem here either.

Probably related to my region, that's a shame GOG.
Everybody at home, all using the interwebz at same time. Expect more of the same, only moreso.

How is it GOG's fault when there is a major world-wide pandemic going on?
Works fine here in Denmark. Have you tried cleaning out your Internet cache and cookies and maybe run your virus detection software to see if they find anything?

Are you accessing the site with Galaxy or a web browser? Most seemed to assume you are using a web browser.

Overall the site works fine for me with web browsers, but there seems to be some oddities e.g. with Chrome. Like right now, if I go to the main gog.com page and scroll down a bit to the "Recommended for you" part, that part is not showing the pictures/links to games it is recommending, it is empty.

If I click on the arrows to the side, then it show a quick glimpse of game pictures, but they vanish and it becomes emplty again.

I think that doesn't happen with Firefox, but I usually connect to gog.com with Chrome. Not sure if it is related to the web browser, or to the fact that with Firefox I always remove/clean or cached data, cookies, history etc. after I'm done browsing, while on Chrome I don't. Maybe the old cached data somehow screws up the main page or something.

EDIT: Yep now I logged in with Firefox and I can actually see the games in the "Recommended for you" banner. Maybe I should use Firefox for gog.com from now on.

Have you tried adjusting the browsers web page zoom level (for GoGs site) up and down, whilst refreshing the page after each adjustment ?.

Wow! Thanks, that was it! They are visible only if you are zoomed-out enough. Mystery solved.

I'm also getting this problem. This website is super slow and struggles to even load. I'm using chrome and I have had this problem since I started using it. It's not a cookie/cache issue for me.
Very popular or something else?

I got a lot of my bandwidth being used, and i have no issues loading.
