tinyE: I'm done with you. I am never going to post or reply to you again.
avatar
Kleetus: Oh, poor wittle diddums is getting butthurt from reality.

And not replying to me won't stop me, I really don't care if people reply or not.

I can still post what I like and give you shit, and you'll just bend over and take it all while the other members can see and read it.

So don't think for a moment that ignoring me will have any effect on my determination to give you and your li'l bum chums your own shit back.
Well, said and double ditto for me.

dtgreene: In case you haven't heard, The Sims 4 apparently got a rather interesting free update.
avatar
dtgreene: From what I understand, it does the following:
1. Gender restrictions on items are removed. This means you can now have your Sims cross-dress without having to mod the game.
2. There is a custom gender option. This allows you, for example, to create a character who can use the toilet standing up, but is also capable of becoming pregnant. (Unfortunately, you can't have a Sim who can become pregnant and can impregnate others; you still must choose one or neither.)
Wouldnt exactly call it interesting....

Some transgender Valve ex-employee is currently suing them.

All this transsexual stuff going on, I think that eventually we'll be invaded by them and have to go to war with a super transsexual army.

I know whose side I'm going to be on.
avatar
Kleetus: I know whose side I'm going to be on.
I'll be on his side.
avatar
Firebrand9: Yay! Oh, wait... I just remembered I don't care. And I'm confused as to why anyone else would either.

I mean, I personally identify as a giraffe. Are they going to remove species restrictions next?
avatar
sunshinecorp: Giraffes suck!
GO BEARS!
Go "play" Crush Crush, there's a character I think you'd like, called Bearverly. ("Play" in quotation marks, because as a clicker, it's not really a game as far as I'm concerned, but mostly an exercise in patience.)

Err.. I did. Can you read me or am I blocked? O_o
OBLIVION@@@!!!

Crackpot.756: Aye. That rhetorical question in particular was directed at this part of koima's post
avatar
Kleetus: Yeah, I know, I was just adding to it without wording it very well.

avatar
koima57: it is again an activism move of dtgreene, so the low voting he / she questionned is explained reasonably
avatar
Kleetus: What activism, just because someone is passionate or interested about something, doesn't make it activism.

And guess what, anyone who doesn't like it doesn't have to read her posts.

This is just nothing more than a group of spiteful little brats here simply downvoting the person, not their context.

Ironically, what she posts is usually far more intelligent and engaging than the brats who vote her down.
avatar
tinyE: You know if GOG would just get rid of the fucking rep we might actually be able to talk about Sims 4 in this, a Sims 4 thread!
avatar
Kleetus: Oh please, your hypocrisy fools nobody.

You're the head brat here, and along with your bum chum, are the main culprits.
have u ever had bum chum??? it's effing delicious!
They forgot to add an option for non-gendered characters. The sentient machines of the future demand the right to have themselves represented as a virtual family of AIs.

While they're at it, how about removing age restrictions, too? Elderly Sims might want to present as teenagers and go to school. And it's "offensive" and "discriminatory" to prevent newly hatched Sims from driving or running their own businesses. Actually just toss age out the window completely.

Might as well throw all differences out while we're at it. Sims must be allowed to present as aliens, vampires, or ghosts depending on demand. How about making them profession-fluid as well? Because it might be "offensive" and "discriminatory" to prevent people from changing their profession tracks.

It's great to be insane, isn't it?

I believe that was called The Sims 3: Supernatural expansion pack. You do understand one of the biggest selling points of a life sim is to play whoever you like?
avatar
Crackpot.756: I'll be on his side.
I'd love to fight by your side, Fraulein.

No, I haven't.

Mr e asked me to send him some sexytime videos once, but I don't like him.

I think he's a homoerectus or something like that.

snowkatt: mleh
ill stick with the sims 2
Heathen. The third was the only true Sim. Deus vult.
I'm posting here just to say that even though I don't agree with dtgreene's views, I do support the creation of this thread, because this is a gaming forum, the Sims is a game - yeah, I know - and if there's a place for this kind of stuff in a game, then the Sims is most certainly the right one.

It's *the* sandbox & if you could already turn your Sims into all sorts of stuff, then transgenderism is absolutely a great addition to this game.

I applaud the initiative.

Not necessarily.
Sometimes she just ignores stuff that doesn't correspond to what she wants to hear.
