Eh, too little too late, in my opinion. Hooray for progressivism, but this still doesn't fix EA's image as one of the higher lords of the piles of dung.

Because it isn't.
Great, now all my female characters can sit around, scratch their balls, and watch football! :D

They can get drunk, sit in a boat with a fishing rod for six hours, and call it a sport!

They can render a bathroom a bio-hazard zone in twenty minutes or less!

They can walk around in boxer shorts and one sock turning off every light in the house screaming, "DO I LOOK LIKE THE GODDAMN ELECTRIC COMPANY!?"

They can light their farts, and get applause for it!

Trust me, there are some restrictions you want! :P

dtgreene: (Unfortunately, you can't have a Sim who can become pregnant and can impregnate others; you still must choose one or neither.)
Why, pray tell, is this unfortunate?

(Already regretting asking this)

Because it's a restriction that has no technical basis. Why shouldn't the player be able to choose arbitrary combinations of traits? (Remember, it *is* just a game, so why not let the player play around as she wishes?)

I'm sure if it was you would already know the answer, considering most of your posts get downrated by [Insert person].

Is there a technical basis behind sims being unable to give birth to winged kittens? ;)

For this to happen, there would need to be a winged kitten model in the game in the first place.

(Maybe someone might, someday, make a mod that makes this possible.)

Would need to get invitations for that to happen.

Well I never get invited to parties so I'm not going to hold that against him. :P
