Guild Wars looks like a good title to have. Although the sequel is available as a digital download apparently, from more DRM-happy sites, so I don't know if the original would get a release here from the current owners.

The Outforce might be interesting. I'll see what I can dig up on that one.

Valhalla Chronicles sounds interesting, but that's the lowest score on Mobygames I've seen for a game. I think it's the lowest actual score possible, unless folks can vote absolute zero.

Looks like The Outforce is currently owned by Starbreeze Studios. I have an impression that they're not a friend of DRM-free.

In their favour, I like how their navigation bar works at the top, with the log shrinking when you scroll in order to minimise the link sizes. GOG would do well to emulate that. The colours on mouseover are nice too.

Except Guild Wars is an MMORPG, not sure that works with GoG. That was the game made by the Blizzard employees that left when they were unhappy with the direction they saw WoW going before it was originally released. I remember doing an early weekend alpha of the game.

Did you see them on the page of Pan Vision? If that's the case, they are probably just the publishers/distributers in the Nordic countries of those games, no other connection.

Yes, that's the list I used. I realise Pan Vision has only a tangential relationship to those games, but they are the titles that caught my personal interest on a quick look.

If you don't sell something then you still own it. Not selling something to one party doesn't mean that a 3rd party will own it. Atari emerged from bankruptcy so the rights should for anything not auctioned off should be with them.

Yeah, maybe, you never know what was sold off privately outside of the auction though - look at Outcast, for instance

My last search paid of. I got an answer from a company who I thought might have gotten the Thalion rights after Thalion's insolvency.
And I was right, they had them and they sold them on. And they told me to whom.

This means I might have found a big chunk if not all of the Thalion rights.
I'll now try to contact that party and see how it goes. Hopefully they confirm that they have the rights.

I really, really hope that this right holder is open to listen (and talk) about the Thalion rights.
I'll keep you posted.

I think (but that's just my assumption) that de minimis assets was supposed to be everything that left after all other deals were made.

So the reason to not include some IP in deal with Tommo, apart of other deals, may only be oversight. Or, as I assumed, rights are back with devs.


Will GOG be interested in releasing those games? Those are Amiga titles, and GOG already said that Amiga DoTC was all on Cinemaware.
