Nice stuff coming this year
I hope Pillars of Eternity II delivers
Curious about Vampyr and Underworld Ascendant

List here

What do you anticipate the most?
Kingdom Come: Deliverance looks interesting, if only because the setting is purely historical and not the usual epic fantasy, but IIRC there is not going to be a DRM-free release.

Looks like a few good games coming up. It goes without saying that I'm looking forward to PoE II but I also like the look of Kingdom Come: Deliverance, Greedfall and Pathfinder:Kingmaker. Hopefully these last three will also turn up here.

Edit: Not looking good for Kingdom Come: Deliverance showing up here :(

Second edit: Added Pathfinder:Kingmaker :)

Pathfinder: Kingmaker. It was fun to rule the land in Baldur's Gate 2, Neverwinter Nights 2, Dragon Age: Awakening, and Pillars of Eternity, but for the most part it was all side content. Can't wait to see an entire game based around the concept.

Just curious what the new info is for this. I know "Unofficially Confirmed" doesn't mean it's 100% coming here, but I thought this one at least had a shot of showing up.

Was there something that changed / new information that came out that makes it seem unlikely?
Excited about Pillars of Eternity, Griftlands, Vampyr, Banner Saga, Mount & Blade. Those are going on my wishlist for sure, and I'll get them if they show up on GOG.

Some of the others look interesting, but I'm mostly a PC gamer and almost entirely DRM-free at that. So we'll see. This might be the year I get a PS4, but I've also been saying that for the past 2 years so I doubt it.
Is that it? Surely not.

POE2 - like watching the grass grow but without the nourishment of sunshine

Kingdom Come - Polish uncanny valley wet nappy simulator. Should be set in the Deluge.

Vampyr - by the same mob who brought you Nippo anime inspired stuff that makes no sense to the right thinking Western World (see Ross Game Dungeon, Hai!)

Finally, the dreadful fate of Underworld Ascendant. Paul Neurath is a good guy, but has been out of the game too long. They knocked this up as a tower defense to get some funds in mid-development, and they should have stuck with that.

It just looks flimsy and terrible unfortunately.

But if Ultima Underworld is an rpg, then bugger it so is system shock. That looks ok since they brought some experience in and stuck it on UE4.

Greedfall - like Arcanum and some fruity Assassins Creed pirate had a bastard love child. Everything is tan in the 17th century for some reason. Should be fantastic, but will be a hack and slash with grinding for upgrades, as everyone loves that shit now that it is ubiquitous. Best of a bad bunch.

Griftlands looks great tho, Klei have a great understanding of what they do.

There are more in the comments section in the article. You know anything about them?
Mmm, seems to be a broad definition of RPG going on there. As for the list, meh, most of it doesn't look much cop so far, and I doubt many of them will come here anyways. The one I am waiting for is Bannerlord, but that is turning into the next Half-Life 3.
lol, there a shit-ton of them. Lot of jrpgs. Must be an acquired taste. Like Hakarl.

The guys behind Styx are pretty good for a second tier studio, maybe that Werewolf one will be good. It's a good universe for that sort of thing. Actually pretty interested in that, I'd like to see someone else have their own crack at it after Bloodlines. God I hope they hire a decent scriptwriter instead of getting their mates to do it.
Is everyone forgetting Ni No Kuni 2?

No, in truth I was just going by what Caesar said. Having said that I do remember the devs saying a couple of years or more ago that it was likely it would be released here but since then it went under my radar and I'd forgotten all about it. The reason being is I try not to get too excited about games as I'm regularly disappointed that a lot of the ones I'd like are only on Steam and never show up here. Although on the plus side, if they do turn up here it is like Christmas and birthdays rolled into one for me :)
M&B2 Bannerlord definitely
Can't wait for Pillars of Eternity 2 and maybe Vampyr. Not quite sure on the second one
Hey! I just got Mount & Blade : Warband. Don't you all leave for Mount & Blade 2: Bannerlord :p
