That is assuming "Tauto" is the same individual. Gunsynd did claim he was going to sell his account to NES or some such. So is this still Gunsynd? Or did he sell his account?

The truth is unclear. But strange isn't it that "Tauto" defends NES now when most people were pretty sure it was NES downrepping Gunsynd? Not sure it makes sense this is the same person and there are aspects of some of Tauto's posts that are reminiscent of NES posts.

I have never experienced Tauto as an "upstanding and friendly member" here, see https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_rep_the_post_and_the_not_nice_people/post139 above you.

I wouldn't call befriending an admitting scammer and troll and openly bragging about using that one's army of alt-accounts to downrep people upstanding, and definitely not friendly.
