ashwald: I've been using offline ones actually. It all comes down to my trying to learn german the same way I learned english: grab a bunch of untranslated books/videogames and the dictionary and get down to it.

Goodaltgamer: Yes and no, at least you get a good vocabulary, but for grammar, you still have to learn it. And for grammar German is not to bad.

IMHO:
German: lot of rules, hardly any exception
English, few rules, few exceptions
French: few rules, lot of exceptions.

And the exceptions are the hardest ones to learn ;)

No, those words are German Laws or "Verordnungen" (Don`t know the english word for Verordnungen).

As in English, edicts and regulations are not the same, although they are nearly identical.
