REDVWIN: Hello hello there! [Brings out some guacamole, offers it to all people around]. Fellow Jurors, Z family, attendants, I have to say that it quite shocked me looking at that familiar happy face all draped in chains, waiting for our benevolence with a sore gaze from that awkward place. [Cheers up, PM from afar] You're not guilty until your filthiness reveals itself by the incoherence of your actions.

As for starters: Officer on Scene, Window 0;)

REDVWIN
Wait, we're supposed to interrogate someone?
I can't say I paid much (or any) attention last time.

zeogold: Suddenly, a loud *BRRRAP BRRAAP BRRRRRAAAAAWWWWWW* roars into the court, followed by the sound of tires screeching and hard rock music playing while sunshinecorp rides his motorcycle and parks it next to the jury bench. Everybody jumps and turns their heads toward him except sanfueg, who still sits stock still. He turns off his motorcycle, scratches briefly, thinks about a model he once saw in a magazine, then gets off and moves to his spot.

omega64: Did he get off his motorcycle or did he actually get off? O_o
Both.
Also, I vote for the Coroner's Report. I want to know the entry and exit point and angle of the bullet.

zeogold: 4. Your final guilty/not guilty verdict (or, in this case, bring to trial/don't bring to trial) may be presented at any time you please, so long as you can back it up per rule 5.
5. You will not be informed whether you were correct or not until everybody has voted and a ruling has been handed down to the defendant.
6. Please put your votes in bold.
7. There are three prizes. <blah blah blah>
7. The day will <yakkity schmackity>
Well, 5 is back, if a non-sequiter from 4. 7 is still cloned; guess he's pretty hardcore. ;)
Now that the OPs have been properly updated with everything current, I'll send out a PM to all the jurors.

Second vote for the Coroner's Report.

The judge has informed me that he is worried you're too smart, and thus has declared that rule 9 be added.
Everyone quick, you're still allowed to use swords.

zeogold: A murmur rises from the jurors, as there is nobody in the defendant's seat. However, zeagold soon walks in, leading in front of him a figure draped in chains, dragging one of his feet, to which there appears to be a weight attached.
There is really only one response to make to this: MORE WEIGHT!

I'm just trying to poke holes in your case! :D

Do you want to add more chains or just have Zeo get fatter?

Stop that, or we'll be forced to break your fingers.

-----

Objective: Determine the identity of the killer. Implication is that Zeogold didn't do it. Even though he totally did, the murderous cheat.

Observations:
-Zeogoldilocks is a liar. She should be well aware that breaking someone's lower left leg isn't a fatal injury. A man with a broken leg isn't going to find it easy to escape.

-Why didn't the hallways security guard hear the gunshot? Guard says he heard no gunshot, no struggle, no screams (of man falling).

-Zeogoldilocks was in Lindo's office between 9pm -midnight, and got her car at 1am. Phone company and garbage man as backup.
-Phone company shouldn't be able to verify that it was her calling, just that her phone was used.

-Guard says Puzzlemaster visited an apparently living victim at 12:30am; Puzzlemaster noted "Resting peacefully" on the chart.
-So much for "Not to be disturbed"

-Door guarded, window locked, only Puzzlemaster had access, but a nurse was able to ignore orders and check on him at 2am? Heh.

-Puzzlemaster has no gun, was on friendly terms with victim. Except apparently he was indifferent to the victim.
-Possible motive: protect his sister from ruinous lawsuit. Apparently not on good terms with sister, though.
-Afraid of pyro prosecutor? Is snowkatt coming back?
-Don't let Zeogoldilocks leave the courtroom? Does Zeogold know she's guilty?

*****AVAILABLE CLUES*****
Prosecution Witness, Officer on the Scene
Coroner's Report
Prosecution Witness, Telephone Technician
Defense Witness, Room 407 Patient
Prosecution Witness, Nurse on Duty

Puzzlemaster's challenge: Solve the mystery by Day 3.

3 pieces of evidence should allow us to identify the killer.
-Office on scene: could reveal who/what he saw/heard, maybe some about their apparent emotions. But we've already got a list of people.
-Coroner's Report: If Zeogold is innocent, then there is probably a lie here. Sunshinecorp has a good point about entry/exit of bullet.
-Telephone Tech: What could he possibly tell us about the phone calls?
-Room 407 Patient: Might have seen someone on the fire escape. Or no one, since they are a defense witness.
-Nurse on duty: Probably can't tell us more than what she saw when she checked in. Might be an accomplice.

Vote Room 407 Patient.

I just want to know if the victim was on any medication.
Sleeping pills for example.
