zeogold: ...........................
*starts fiddling with the chains*
Stop that, or we'll be forced to break your fingers.
-----
Objective: Determine the identity of the killer. Implication is that Zeogold didn't do it. Even though he totally did, the murderous cheat.
Observations:
-Zeogoldilocks is a liar. She should be well aware that breaking someone's lower left leg isn't a fatal injury. A man with a broken leg isn't going to find it easy to escape.
-Why didn't the hallways security guard hear the gunshot? Guard says he heard no gunshot, no struggle, no screams (of man falling).
-Zeogoldilocks was in Lindo's office between 9pm -midnight, and got her car at 1am. Phone company and garbage man as backup.
-Phone company shouldn't be able to verify that it was her calling, just that her phone was used.
-Guard says Puzzlemaster visited an apparently living victim at 12:30am; Puzzlemaster noted "Resting peacefully" on the chart.
-So much for "Not to be disturbed"
-Door guarded, window locked, only Puzzlemaster had access, but a nurse was able to ignore orders and check on him at 2am? Heh.
-Puzzlemaster has no gun, was on friendly terms with victim. Except apparently he was indifferent to the victim.
-Possible motive: protect his sister from ruinous lawsuit. Apparently not on good terms with sister, though.
-Afraid of pyro prosecutor? Is snowkatt coming back?
-Don't let Zeogoldilocks leave the courtroom? Does Zeogold know she's guilty?
*****AVAILABLE CLUES*****
Prosecution Witness, Officer on the Scene
Coroner's Report
Prosecution Witness, Telephone Technician
Defense Witness, Room 407 Patient
Prosecution Witness, Nurse on Duty
Puzzlemaster's challenge: Solve the mystery by Day 3.
3 pieces of evidence should allow us to identify the killer.
-Office on scene: could reveal who/what he saw/heard, maybe some about their apparent emotions. But we've already got a list of people.
-Coroner's Report: If Zeogold is innocent, then there is probably a lie here. Sunshinecorp has a good point about entry/exit of bullet.
-Telephone Tech: What could he possibly tell us about the phone calls?
-Room 407 Patient: Might have seen someone on the fire escape. Or no one, since they are a defense witness.
-Nurse on duty: Probably can't tell us more than what she saw when she checked in. Might be an accomplice.
Vote Room 407 Patient.
