Unless the accused is literally the size of The Hulk (or bigger), doubt the gloves can really be considered proof against him, unless they had his fingerprints (or his name embroided inside).

But having basically his former employer (from his days in the mafia) testify against him... maybe the theory of someone trying to "send him a message" by killing his girlfriend doesn't seem so far fetched.

Also, it was never mentioned what exactly her job was... maybe she was an undercover agent (but that is just random guessing / theory now)

I’m of course voting to learn more about the bathroom, like I’m doing at nearly every round ;)
Especially now that the maintenance man testified, I’m more sure than ever that this is the room where the actual killing took place.

Let’s hope the killer(s?) has not been as careful as he/she(they?) thought and forgot to clean some piece of evidence…

The body was moved. Darleen drowned in the tub, but it was an accident. She was either very drunk or drugged. Someone was already there or found her afterwards. The rest of my theory, as to why the body was moved, I will only share with the Puzzlemaster.

btw, I have no desire to change my verdict. Maybe the girl drowned, maybe she didn't - but somebody was there with her and is responsible, and I continue to fervently believe the twist here is that it really was Guido Sarducci over there the whole time.
