Alright, Prosecution Witness, Darleen's Coworker.

sunshinecorp: That's actually good. Why would anyone watch a video of a game instead of playing it is beyond me.
avatar
omega64: Why would anyone have an interest in Monkey Island. :P
All I know is you're a pirate called guybrush.
Read something about a weird puzzle concerning a "monkey wrench"
Unbelievable... just...
...unbelievable.
avatar
omega64: I've never even watched a video of one of the games. :P

You don`t know Twitch, right? Or Outstarwalker, PantslessAaron and MemoriesIn8Bit. :-)

yogsloth: At that level, it's a neurotoxin. That's literal death in a bottle.
They've put it in not just one box, but two boxes, and have this line specifically in the article: "If you're fool enough to mess with this stuff then on your own stupid head be it."

yogsloth: Who else would be a "traitor"?
The ex-mafioso could certainly be considered a traitor. I'm telling you, he did it and is trying to frame the mob as framing him for it. Maybe he found out Darleene was cheating on him (or maybe he was the one she was cheating with), and poor Archie threw up after seeing his girlfriend all posed the way she was when they were...together...earlier that day.

Or maybe the two body "finders" did it together, and concocted the whole story!

Lack of time/playing ability to work through it personally, interest to actually acquire the game, availability of game in
question, or lack of willingness/ability to spend money without seeing how some of it plays.

zeogold: $20 for a 30-piece puzzle?! That's not sexy, that's a scam!
That's the price for your drug :P

BTW : Vote: Prosecution Witness, Darleen's Coworker , while she's still alive >_>

zeogold: Also, it's been recently brought to my attention that some of our friends from overseas might not get the "red herring" reference.
avatar
sunshinecorp: Who the fuck hasn't played Monkey Island? Except for you, I know you're uncultured.
Hey, now. I've played that game. I'm an adventure game aficionado. They don't call me the Puzzlemaster for nothin'!

I only do puzzles, not drugs.

I am not a fan of adventure games (though, I did play through all the early Sierra titles as a kid/teen: Space Quest, King's Quest , Police Quest, Leisure Suit Larry), but, for some odd reason, I actually like watching other people muddle through them occasionally. The best one from recent memory was Yahtzee playing Leisure Suit Larry 3 with a friend of his (blocking on his name).

I mainly like playing RPGs and turn-based strategy games. I like watching other people play the former, after I have finished the game at least once, to see how they went about thing, and I like watching others play the latter to maybe see better/new tactics and such.

(I think this might be the most I have posted in this thread up until now combined! :P)
I'm supposed to vote, right?

*le sigh*

Let me think about it.

You can, but I don't think anybody will count it.

Well, drugs can be many things, not only the usual suspects like alcohol, heroine or crack, but also gambling, chocolate, betting and so on. Nearly everything can make you an addic. Your drug seems to be puzzles, so you`re a puzzle addic (or is it addict?). My drugs, for example, are books, games and cigarettes, in that order. :-)
