I don't even want to say what I read. It wasn't rock and I had to read again.

Exactly. Hard sock.

zeogold: Why did you choose to do this? I mean, you DID end up being correct that Bookwrym was with the mafia, but I never actually gave you this evidence.
I had no idea *all* of them would be with the mafia, and given that I strongly suspected the others were, I thought Bookwyrm would be the innocent one.

I wanted to mislead the other jurors to vote for him, so I gave them this fake bit of information. Thought it would be funny when they'll all incorrectly accuse Bookwyrm.

Didn't expect it to end this way.

Apparently, the same thing can't ever be said for this thread.

This is how I envisioned it:

Juror 1: Bookwyrm is guilty!
Juror 2: Burn him!
Juror 3-11: ditto ditto ditto ditto

ZFR: No wait. I won't allow it! He's innocent!

Everyone: Hooray for our hero! He shrewdly tricked everyone and then saved the day. He wins this and every Puzzlemaster's Court game.

... I was close.

That reminds me, I should ask a question to everybody:

Technically, I have all the stuff I need for the next game (I think). When would you guys be interested in me putting it up? I would go ahead and do it now/soon, but I dunno how people would feel about hopping straight from one court game to another without a break.
Also, if anybody has any other feedback about this one, I'd like to hear it.

Well, maybe leave at least a few days break (both to not overdo it / burn out people, and because there's currently a big sale ongoing, so less people might be willing to participate, due to the nature of Insomnia Sale... or maybe it's just me because I only have a single monitor.)

As for feedback:

- Was definitively better with having more people "act" as witnesses / prosecution and defense.

- 2nd part was kinda bad... not necessarily the idea, just that it might not work out so well (especially given that part of the information is hidden from others, along with the whole PM process), also the fact that people (aside of the actors) can give false information (looking at you, ZFR) can easily disturb the flow of the game, since it's supposed to be somewhat of a cooperative effort. Maybe it just needs some adjustments / further refinement.

It should have already started.

Let's do this!
I'll just be audience though as I really can't be bothered to pay attention. :P

I thought it was a bit dull.

You don't just switch browser tabs?

Habanerose: - Was definitively better with having more people "act" as witnesses / prosecution and defense.
Only problem was, this was one of the things that bogged the length down. I often had to wait for the person to come online, and be online at the same time as the prosecution/defense. I think if I do a bit more arranging beforehand, maybe I can fix this.

Yeah, admittedly I hadn't thought this out so well. My idea was to have a Mafia game sort of setup, but with more investigation purposes, to fit with the theme of "Death and the Mafioso". I've decided to refine the idea after discussing the finer details with a few people, and move it to a whole different game called "The Puzzlemaster's Investigations", which I'll start one of these days. This won't appear again in the next court game.

I do, it's just annoying when you try to get a specific game during this sale (especially the rarer ones, who fly by within seconds).

Though I already spent enough as it is, others might still be doing it.

Just don't overdo it... otherwise you might end up having to keep track of a dozen fast moving threads at the same time :P

My solution was to down size the sale window, just tall enough to show the price, number remaining, and game name, and do whatever on the top half of the screen. ;)
