I had turkey, gammon, roast potatos, mash potato, brussel sprouts fried with bacon, carrots, pigs-in-blankets, sage and onion stuffing, peas and yorkshire puddings and it was handsome. Surprisingly I didn't have any room left for desert.

My Christmas dinner was a potluck, meaning everybody who attended brought something. It included ham, brisket, potato salad, green beans, chorizo w potatoes, and wine or tea. Yes, pretty random, but the point was having everyone contribute. And yes, there was dessert too - cupcakes, cookies, mmmm

I've been referred to here by zeogold, who caught my attention for one game that has sparked my interest. I'm in for the Saboteur.

Thank you for this generous giveaway, and thanks to zeogold for bringing this up to me! As to what I had for dinner, something modest.

French fries and pasta, but even the most modest of foods (when compared to the usual Christmas fare) is something I appreciate and taste to the fullest. I thoroughly enjoyed them, especially the salt of the fries.

First I wish you merry Christmas and may your holiday season be filled with love and joy! Wow I'm amazed by your leftovers.

For Chrismas supper I ate superb mom's pumpkin soup, tasty shrimp cocktail with various spices and fruits (I recognized taste of mango and curry), delicious salmon with special sauce i don't know recipe for but i must find out :) and potatoes and calliflower prepared on butter, some refreshing desert with lemons and redberries. Later I ate just one date and had a few glasses of carrot juice since i don't drink alcohol. Only leftover I have is some pear kompot and possibly some soup and two thirds of a potato :)

I seem to have had quite a similar meal to you! Turkey, roast potatoes and beans, carrots, pigs in blanket, followed by black forest cake and marzipan cake.

Normally we go to my in-laws for Xmas and the dinner is IDENTICAL to the one you listed in the first post.

However this year we didn't go (because we have a three month old baby and the logistics just didn't work out) so we had roast chicken, roast potatoes, broccoli, peas, and gravy. To drink there was some posh pomegranate squash we got as a present, and all manner of chocolate things we got as presents for dessert. All in all a fine feed and a good (if rather quiet) day :)

I should really take the dog out but I can barely walk, and my trousers might fall down because I can't do them up any more.
