OK, cool. Couldn't hurt to vote in the wishlist for it, though. It might even come to GOG.

The game isn't even out yet, but i talked to the developers, and they will definitely bring it to gog when it's finished.
I plan on backing it on Kickstarter. I've known about the game for years but forgot about it until recently seeing an article about the game on rpgwatch.com announcing a Kickstarter soon. Hopefully that won't be too far off.

I'm in close contact with the developers, they said the Kickstarter campaign will launch somewhere at the end of this month.

Count me in a swell - IF there's going to be that suggested PayPal option in addition to the campaign on Kickstarter.

Will they? Are they well established enough to guarantee a GOG release? GOG does refuse a lot of games. The wishlist is there to tell both GOG and the publishers that you're interested in the game should it come to GOG. Essentially it is a barometer for how interested GOG's userbase is in a game, thus giving the big wigs an indication as to whether or not it is worth distributing the game on GOG. Currently the game has six votes, which is basically nothing. Unless you're sure they've got the go ahead from GOG, it wouldn't hurt voting for the game.
Not to be a spoilsport but don't you guys think this game looks a bit too generic to be called "next hit"? I mean, on the latest trailer the first quest they show it's a fetch-me-this-I'll-sell-you-that kinda quest, and the UI it's almost the same as in PoE if I'm not mistaken. Also, as much as I'd like to share a bit of your enthusiasm, by reading this (http://www.blackgeyser.com/game-creation-myth) I find it quite difficult to do so. Nonetheless, I hope they succeed on their kickstarter and are able to make the game they wish to make.
Seeing how backing often turn out... I would say no.

On top of that, PillarsOfEternity-UI was nothing to be proud of, (left so many space unused) therefor it´s not only non-innovative but also not very clever to imitate it. Don´t get me wrong, it´s not like an UI one has to be ashamed of (like Oblivion...) but also nothing that offers standout quality.

In general it doesn´t look like a title that bring progression in quality, but just more quantity; maybe even lowering quality in favor of quantity. Nothing the CRPG-Genre would need at all...
Make sure to check out the features the game's supposed to have:

blackgeyser.com/game-novelties

Seems to do things different enough from other similar titles to give this a shot, I couldn't care less if it looks exactly like XYZ.
Reminds me of the ridiculous accusations towards Ash of Gods: Redemption for being nothing more than a straight-up Banner Saga-rip-off.

Oh cool, another kickstarter game. What is the planned percentage of in-world gameplay and fourth-wall-breaking backer winkwink content, this time ?
There is no legit way to know that this game is going to be a hit.
