DreamedArtist: I will keep an eye out but I am very skeptical now due to a lot of backed projects never coming out or had major issues.
But what about all the projects who were successfull, think about that. ;)
I find it super-lame that they/you revealed that mechanic about having a druid in the party. That'd have been interesting if I didn't know about it before encountering it. That's the sort of thing it's good to -spoiler-, imo. Not that I was planning on playing it anyway, but eesh.
From the Black Geyser Homepage:

The Kickstarter campaign launches on 26th April, 11 AM Eastern Time (United States EST timezone). In Europe, this is going to be late afternoon.

In the meantime, we will do an AMA (Ask Me Anything) event on Reddit and on our Discord channel as well. We invite you to join and ask! Event details are coming on our Facebook page.

Apparently one needs to sign up to that silly place just to see what's what. At least by doing this on reddit it would be possible to read their replies. Is it available somewhere else?

Aw, come on, it's not that big of a deal to sign up there, it's pretty easy! ;)

The developers told me on facebook that the reddit ama date is soon to be published. ;)
Sounds like a no then. Not going to sign up to random pages just to read what these guys may or may not be doing with this game.
From their facebook site:

We will do a Reddit AMA event on Wednesday, 25th April, 11 AM PST, 2 PM EST. This is evening in Europe. We will publish its exact link that time. The general link: https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/

De nada. I've also pledged. ;)
Guess I have to wait for the end of the campaign on KS with all the other credit card-less peasants.
Slacker-backing with PayPal is still planned, right?

Yes, but they can only do it at the end of the campaign, because kickstarter doesn't count paypal pledges.
Wow, they already have over 20 thousand! :)

It asked for my phone number >.<

About the game (Early thoughts) :

The Good:
* The story sounds good. The Idea of greed (curse?) is appealing to me.
* The new thief skill, adding objects into other people's pockets can be fun. (Opposite of pickpocket)
* I liked the character animations so far.
* I liked the writing.

The Bad:
* The quests does not sound appealing. Fetch quests in a singleplayer? Grrr...
* The introduction video was... funny... I had to watch 3 times to understand what they were saying. First 2 times I was laughing and distracted by how they were reading and trying to act natural. That's always a bad sign for me.
* Not enough information to be able to backup a game. Next CRPG hit? Definitely not!

To Captainchicken84: Why would anyone trust a total stranger enough to support a game who does not even want to wishlist the game s/he is promoting?

Captainchicken84: I'm not wishlisting, i'm just doing some promotion on my own for these guys.
