amok: gOg does not set the price points, the publishers does
BrianSim: Some publishers need a reality check then when there are new (unused) budget label board game collection PC disc games (Chess + Backgammon + Mahjong + Dominoes, etc) on EBay for £1.50 + free delivery, even ignoring the hundreds of open source chess games floating around with generally better AI. I picked up my CD-ROM
Battle Chess Collection (4 games) for £2.49 brand new & sealed inc postage (or £0.63 per game).
Let's be honest, as much as I love what GOG has done for the classic game industry, the real peak time to re-acquire older 80's-90's childhood games was in the early to mid 2000's before the great digital nostalgia grab took hold and drove prices of +10-20 year old games 5-12x higher than what the disc version were previously going for on Ebay on "Xplosive" style budget labels on the back of hilarious
"lower distribution costs of digital games = cheaper games!" marketing tripe.
publishers do not sell games on Ebay, this are (for the most part) games sold by random people.
