I'm never really too much happy about reboots, and this one seems a lot worse choice of cast than i was expecting. I think i'll end up seeing it anyway though.

Okay, I think it's time we set one thing straight- this isn't a reboot. It's a sequel. Or maybe an interquel, as it's supposedly set between Predator 2 and Predators? Anyway, it's not a reboot, it's part of the existing series. Not that it really matters much, as there isn't much continuity between the movies anyway, but since a lot of people seem to be instinctivly against reboots I thought I'd point it out.

Yeah it picks up at the point during the last movie when the audience totally lost interest in the series. :P

Driving tanks, wearing Camouflage clothes.......Common! why does the Predator need camouflage?!?! My guess, and this is only a guess. Some cheesy plot where the Predator befriends the little kid, and helps the humans against those larger Predators from the last film. ( I agree "Predators" was decent, no complaints there)

A perfect solution: don't watch it :D It worked every single time for me. Memories saved (not to mention - money as well)

They don't need to. The dumbass movie-goers of today are praising mediocre movies as "brilliant". The bar is set very low when it comes to creativity these days.

How the heck did I completely miss this? And it's with Jackie Earle Haley, you would think it be somewhat decent... Now, I almost feel a masochistic need to see it.
As long as you understand, that even for a direct to DVD movie, the 2nd one is horrible, you'll be okay.

Okay so after some further investigation I found out that the kid isn't actually in the movie.



He's directing it.

It isn't a reboot, by the way. Gary Busey's son is in it, and he is playing the son of the character Busey played in Predator 2.

According the picture of actors it'd be more like shutdown -h than reboot for me:)
