Greetings!!

So once upon a time mobile phones pretty much meant Nokia in our area.
Charging your phones was a weekly job. the small screens held large wonders of technology. Even the Space Impact Game from the 3315 was a great game. Ringtone creators were fun.

And then times changed, and phones too.

Now in 2017 as Nokia phones are yet again on market, I am happy about their return. Yes, it's HMD Global who are making the phones, but then the team contains old Nokia employees. And it's Android so won't be much different from the other options. Still from the reviews it appears that the build quality seems to be good which suggests they are trying to live up to the expectations.

So what is your thought on the new Nokia phones GOGlins?
nvm
it was stupid :P

While this news interests me, I know of one user who is devastated.

Devastated?? By a phone??

Anyway I found the Nokia 6 model inrteresting. While the specs are average the build quality seems really nice with aluminum unibody. jerryrigeverything did a video on it and it fared good. Plus I liked that they are providing "stock" android with promise of regular updates.

Well, rather by the operating system. They would see it as a betrayal.

Well, I have nothing against Android, but I'd rather see Nokia focus on Windows Phone. The last WP-device was released a year ago, I think.. Very sad. It's a very underrated OS in my opinion.

The new phones are not being released by the Nokia's erstwhile mobile division which Microsoft purchased. Those phones came with Microsoft branding for some time. This phones are being released by HMD Global as they licensed the use of Nokia brand.
