Niggles: Im also curious about the pricing. $50ish for the CE.. wonder how much they plan to sell the base game when its out?.
For a long time the base game was in the upcoming tab (until this morning) and throughout this time the price was $39.99 (not visible onscreen, but found in the HTML).

I tried that, but accidentally saw enough to tell me that it looks like MoO2 with a shinier wrapper. And I already have MoO2. For six bucks.

To me it comes across as a mix of features from both MoO1 and MoO2 and non-turn-based combat for some strange reason. I still haven't seen enough about this new iteration to make any kind of decision. While I would like to see this be successful I still have some doubts.

That's the price of collector's edition which includes all the older Master of Orion titles and some other extras, they said that standard would be priced lower and will be purchasable later.

My guess is that the standard edition might be priced around $30.

I am hoping that multiple methods for travel are added, similar to what Sword of the Stars possessed. Of all the good ideas that have come in the last couple decades of 4X, that particular one was of great interest to me.
