Purple = Galaxy ≠ GOG

A GOG mascot should be grayscale.

...or the classic green and yellow.

But for some reason making things unpleasant for me is ok?

Look, there's a ton of websites that are all about anime and anime art and stuff. Half the internet caters to otakus. So I don't think anyone will be deprived of anything by the absence of an anime GOG mascot. But I can't stand that stuff, it's just ugly as sin to me. I'm not pushing for GOG to get a Star Trek LCARS style makeover. Let's keep things neutral and not forcefeed others our particular fandoms, shall we?

Like that time they brainwashed us and made us think that pixel art was the greatest thing in the world, eh Breja?
I really cannot suffer grey. Why must they make me suffer so much?
Also, I had a car accident and now I have PTSD. GOG should really erase all racing games, I get genuinely afraid when I see a car on the main page, I think it wants to kill me.
(Obviously I'm just being stupid)

I say you are taking things too far. It's just an image for a Jap games promo, it's not like the shop is converting into an anime-only store.
Also, if by user request the GOG team deleted stuff, you would probably be obliterated by a mass anti-Breja mobilitation.
I personally suffer more repetitive meaningless complaints by people who think their tastes should be the golden standard that anime drawings.

Look, my dislike for this anime stuff is as perfectly valid as other people's enthusiasm. Trying to somehow make it so that only "yay, anime mascot!" is a valid opinion is ridiculous. Fuck that mob mentality.

I'm not saying GOG shouldn't sell games with anime graphics. I don't have a problem with some anime art for a japanese games promo. I just don't like the idea of pushing this stuff as something permanent, because a vocal group otaku is all "yay, new waifu". I'd just appreciate it if a website I frequent didn't become permanently too ugly for me to look at without cringing. I'm so very sorry if that offends you.

I feel it's more the wording that causes the reaction and not the dislike of anime visuals you have. Of course I can't be sure as I'm not everyone in the world. xd
