Just bought Star Wars Rebellion.
Perhaps I'll buy one or two games too(I don't decide which ones in the wishlist yet).
Planescape : Torment, Icewind Dale 2 Complete, Temple of Elemental Evil.
Got Neverwinter Knights Diamond free

Got Shadow Warriors Classic Redux free

so far the only things I want that is not on sale is Doom 1 and 2 and Wolfenstien

I hope to god they do cause the past few sales they not been on them. :(
I wonder why I haven't seen Arx Fatalis on sale EVER. Are developers refused to lower price for this game or what?
Is it just me or are GOG sales more expensive now? Could be the falling pound or maybe just the items I'm interested in aren't as reduced as much as in the summer. I was thinking of getting Kyrandia but it was half the price in the summer.

Steam sales are definitely cheaper, although I know you guys love your DRM gaming, but I'm not sure I know difference.

And I don't get the thinking behind the bundles, ie you have to buy 10 or so games to get the discount.

I don't think I would spend much in this sale. I've bought enough in both Fall and Black Friday sales. Thanks to GOG, I got "Shadow Warriors Classic Redux" free so far. I'll wait till the end of the sale to see all the games/bundles.
Nothing. And will remain as such until GOG do 1 of 2 things:

1 - Finally release Dying Light in Japan. SHOULD HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE IN APRIL!
2 - Adopt JPY pricing -- something both Steam and GamersGate have done.

Personally, I've given up on 1 ever happening and can only shake my head at the fact that GOG think it acceptable to sell the DLC here without the base game to actually use it. So, until they adopt JPY pricing and thus match the lower pricing on Steam, I'll stick with skipping sales.

I checked IsThereAnyDeal and according to its historic data the game was down to 1.9$ at June 24, 2012 (Summer Sale) and December 16, 2012 (Winter Sale). Considering the time that hast past might as well go for it if you are interested. It has been on sale more often at Steam though, last was 7 days ago apparently.
Hmmm, I think doing the splits will be easier than finding something. Maybe tomorrow...

I support your impression. It could be that I already have all the cheap games that interest me, but I think that the discount percentage has been better, and the base price of games has been increasing (certainly because GOG is carrying more new games now).

And the 10 games for the discount boost? Not it is not going to happen! 5 or 6, maybe.

I feel like I should be taking a long nap, play what games I have for the moment, and come back at a much later date...

Perhaps GOG is experimenting with the pricing, to see what gets them more money, or maybe they are holding "the good stuff" for later. Or the sale performance will be affecting the discounts on the remaining days in a dynamic discount allocation. Who know? But today I am mostly disappointed.

<snip>
It is very likely. Before, GOG would do flash or other time sensitive sales (ala Insomnia). Prices were slashed further, but available in limited quantities. While many enjoyed the format, others complained it wasn't convenient. Now we enter a week-long sale where the prices are a bit higher to accommodate a wider customer base.

Crying about sales is always pathetic to watch.
You get games reduced by 50-60-70% down to only a couple euro and you guys act like getting ripped off.
If you can't afford games, get a cheaper hobby or get a better job. It boggles my mind how entitled people today feel, acting as if they have a right to get stuff practically free because "it's a sale and i'm special little snowflake, so i deserve it!"
How about just being thankfuly that nowadays there are sales constantly everywhere and gog throws out games for free on top of that?
Back 20 years ago games dropped in price maybe 1-2 years after release, mostly only by 50%, how much would you jobless losers have cried about that back then?

Anyway, back on topic:
