Tarhiel: How does one go about fulfilling "The Socialite" badge?
Simply by sharing the post about sale from GOG´s FB page?
Clicking the "share" button for Facebook or Twitter.
No need to actually post/share anything, just clicking the button will do it.
I hope to see some more older games in the next rounds, that's why I keep coming back to GOG after all.
Right now I'm more interested in Fireflower Winter sale.
WHY YOU DO THIS TO ME GOG? :(
I clicked on Get It for the NWN freebie, now it looks like russian, the characters are reversed! :-D

Just realized that the sale is ending on the 11th. Well, that kinda put a wrench in my whole buying-games-en-masse plan for kickstarting the next community giveaway.
I'd better start thinking of something fast.

Seems to be an issue with the flipping animation.

innerring: Now Shadow Tactics: Blades of the Shogun won't get the spotlight it deserves :(

Cypisss: I'll do whatever it takes. WHATEVER IT TAKES. This game is the shit.
Glad to hear that :)

Tarhiel: I´m... shocked!
Third sale in succession and so early?

Why does it have to end in December 11th? I really would wish it to last longer :/
Because there's still the X-Max sale...

Thanks, only now I have noticed it.
I do understand the people that complain that sales constantly pop up everywhere. Really. It was not like this a couple of years ago, not only on gog but pretty much everywhere around the internet. Personally, I would like gog (for example) to have two major sales all the year. I don't know when, maybe summer-christmas. Sure, some smaller ones would be nice surprises, e.g. that black friday sale we had a couple of weeks ago, but I believe that two major sales would keep the interest of the consumers high and it would be more "healthy" for the site.

On the other hand, there is a simple solution. Don't buy anything you don't need to. Just resist people, after all you know that you are going to have plenty other chances. I mean, I get the temptation, but hey, I have 10-15 games (thanks to the autumn sale mostly) on my backlog right now, I'm set.

And don`t forget the New Year sale. And the Holy three kings sale. And the middle of January sale. And the begin of February sale. And the spring sale and......

I don't think people are complaining so much in the sense of "Oh, great, why is it ANOTHER sale?!" but more like "Why wasn't it a release instead?"

Me, I'm just kinda sad they brought the XP thing back. I never really cared for it and preferred the "mystery package" thing much better, but meh, if that's what works for them to keep drawing in dollars, so be it.

I miss the mystery package stuff :l
Always got "bad" stuff, but enjoy it anyway.

I regret not taking advantage of it when I could. But then, how could I have known? I wasn't part of the community back then and had nobody to gift to/trade with.
If they had another one now, I'd buy as much as my budget would let me and make them all gifts so I could share with others.
Well... not buying anything this time might be a challenge :D Already there are some nice discounts on my wishlist, but I fill like it would be silly to buy anything right att he start of the sale, before I see what else gets discounted.

Anyway, I'm happy GOG is keeping with that format of sales, instead of any stupid insomnia or mystery piniata gimmicks. A nice, straightforward sale - the best kind there is.
