Grargar: Now, though, the game finally supports automatic serial generation and GOG has updated the installer to include a CD-Key changer tool, where you input your new shiny serials, without the need to track down the *.ini in question.
So if they updated the installer, then I have to redownload the full game to get access to this changer feature?

Yes. It's not necessary to do so (you can manually hunt down nwncdkey.ini and replace the generic keys with your own), but it simplifies the process.
Convenience vs GBs wasted. Your choice.

Basically, if you have ever edited an .ini/.cfg/.json/.[whatever] file in a text editor before, you shouldn't need to download the newest installer version. This goes double if you're not planning on playing online multiplayer any time soon.

IronArcturus: Has anyone played that Barony game? Is it any good?
Similar to Delver, with a lot more 'rouge-like' settings available to tailor the game to your liking, I think 1st/3rd person views, and multi-player :)

GOGCOM TwitchTV stream
Is the Civilization bundle really worth "up to +0 XP" as it says, or is that an error?

I understand that it's a launch discount, and isn't "officially" part of the winter sale, so the price won't stay through the end of the sale like other discounts... but even non-discounted games provide XP during the sale, so this really should be worth XP at the same rate that other games are offering.

Sounds good! Do you know if the game has a windowed mode?

A display bug. If you go to the checkout, you will receive 23000 XP.

Digital_CHE: I try to store money in my GOG WALLET using Paypal, and nothing happen..
avatar
Ixamyakxim: I don't use the wallet or paypal, so my help will be marginal, but I DO know you need Two Factor Authentication on to add wallet funds.

Do you use two factor? GoG turned it "on" for everyone about a month back or so, but if you turned it off you might not be able to add funds to your wallet.
I have the two factor enabled..

A few days ago, when Black Hole was on sale I tried to purchase it, and I have the same problem...
For any of you complaining about the sale being a deja vu of sorts, the byob bundles have highlights never seen before (I think*):

EA BYOB bundles have a very nice entry at only 5 titles (, [url=https://www.gog.com/promo/20161203_winter_sale_ea_strategy_byob]Strategy) or 10 (Action) that will net you up to 85% off.
Square Enix has a blanket 80% off if choosing 15 from titles which previously only had such discounts at bundles of complete franchises.
Star Wars™ - No need to buy a complete pack to get a decent discount: Most* of the 77% off from the previous Saber Bundle offering while picking at least 7 (actual gain is 75%), and also enable the 59% off on titles featured in the Blaster Bundle titles (spanning exactly 7 titles).

And we are only on day 2 (actually 3 but new deals haven't showed yet) of the sale, who knows what may be next :)

The one drawback is the youtubers packs aren't clearly marked as NOT a bundle, most include several editions of the same game and none grant any bundle completion discount whatsoever, quite disorienting from the actual bundles.

* It might be the Star Wars offering was seen before, On the Back to School sale when Disney had 75% off on individual title, But I don't recall Star Wars games were featured.
