But I want to second Kleetus for Red Faction, once you get used to him, he's only annoying most of the time.

I'm pretty sure "generous" doesn't enter into the equation anywhere. It is more about cutting as deep as possible and rubbing a salt shaker into the wound. ;)

Replying to this post, since I'm on mobile atm and don't want to quote or snip the long OP. I suggest changing the link to start at a specific post number, to make it easier to locate. If more things get cut from the thread, the page number might get screwy, but if you know the post number (it shows in the link) you can find the right spot even if the actual post you quote gets cut.

Meh, he used to be...pretty bad. One of the few people on here (like Tauto) who actually hit that -500 mark from the community rather than from scammers. I mean, he's eased up and isn't nearly as horrible as he used to be, but he did get to the downright troll level at one point.
I wouldn't pick a fight over Kleetus getting anything, but I'm not sure I'd personally give him anything or be nominating him for anything, either.

I'd be surprised if I saw him apologize for anything. I've never seen him drop the act and talk seriously...pretty much ever.

I originally linked to the post in the trading thread that kicked off the whole jimYs saga*. But when I followed the link I ended up in some random part of the thread, so I decided to link to the page instead, as that would point you vaguely into the right direction.

Needless to say, I was thoroughly appalled by this and contemplated opening up another one of those "gog, fix your forum, dammit!" threads. Then I realised that my time would probably be more wisely spent doing something else. You know, pretty much anything else.

gog forum gonna gog forum. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

*edit: See, that's what I'm talking about: Notice how linking to a post on page 675 somehow ends you up on page 676, when I already decided to hold this little giveaway. That's why I linked to page 675 instead, wouldn't want people to miss out on the juicy bits.
