Wine version(s) tested: Wine Staging 1.9.5 via PlayOnLinux

Install notes: Requires d3dx9_36, devenum, quartz and wmp9
Start the game from/create shortcut for "Divinity2.exe"
How well does it run: Perfect, as far as I can tell
Details: Tested with virtual desktop and CSMT enabled. I've only played for a short while so far but it seems to run great - looks fine as far as I can tell and gameplay is very smooth maxed out at 1920x1200, however one of the Wine reports mentioned it crashing sometimes so be careful & save often.

Runs better in Wine than it does on Windows for me at least; I tried testing it on my Win7 install to compare with its performance in Wine however on my Win7 install it CTDs (without giving any error) before even reaching the main menu :(

I also tried getting this running in CrossOver, but it's a lot more hassle to get running properly with that - best to use regular Wine/Wine Staging for this one.

Install notes: Requires d3dcompiler_43 (install DirectX 9 Modern in CrossOver)
Let the Visual C++ 2008 redistributable install when it asks
If using PlayOnLinux, start the game from/create shortcut for "DCApp.exe"
How well does it run: Perfect
Details: Tested with virtual desktop enabled. Have only played for a few hours so far but the game seems to work perfectly with decent framerate, running maxed out at 1920x1200. If you want to run the game full screen at your display's full resolution with virtual desktop enabled you'll need to set the virtual desktop resolution to match. Don't use CSMT as the game will freeze on exit (this does not apply to CrossOver).

Install notes: Just install & play.
If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create a shortcut for "sfc.exe". Run "config.exe" ("Video Settings" in CrossOver) first to set display resolution.
How well does it run: Perfectly so far
Details: Tested with virtual desktop enabled. Have only played very briefly but it seems to work fine. May need some slight tweaking (although it worked fine for me without changing anything):

Sorry, maybe I should have mentioned this before, but don't forget, as I initially did, to edit the config file if you can't hear Sulu's voice during the training missions. If you don't already know, there should be a voice volume setting in there, set as a percentage.

Wine version(s) tested: Wine Staging 2.21 (with CSMT and virtual desktop enabled)

Install notes: Just install & play. According to WineHQ's AppDB this needs directplay for multiplayer but I did not test that. Set compatibility mode for Win98 to fix the complaint about DirectX version.
If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create a shortcut for "TotalA.exe"
How well does it run: Perfect
Details: Played for a short while, encountered no issues. Tested with virtual desktop enabled (note that the ingame menus and videos play at a fixed 640x480 resolution, so you'll want to have the virtual desktop enabled if you don't want your display resolution being tampered with).

Gydion: Main posts are current as of now. If you notice any mistakes or broken links let me know.
I posted a report about Battle Realms in the old thread right before you started this new one, and don't see Battle Realms in your list. It's quite possible that my report didn't meet some quality standard (I don't play that many games in general, and even fewer via wine, so might've easily missed something essential), but I figure it's also just as possible that you just missed it. (I'd be happy to repost it in this thread if the report is useful enough.)
