CodeWeavers link: (none yet)

Distro: Linux Mint 18 Cinnamon 64-bit
Kernel version: 4.4.0-38
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 750Ti
Graphics driver & version: Proprietary 370.28
Wine version(s) tested: Wine 1.9.19 via PlayOnLinux, CrossOver 15.2.0

Install notes: Requires d3dx9_40 (install DirectX 9 Modern in CrossOver)
If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create a shortcut for "Gothic III Forsaken Gods.exe"
How well does it run: Almost perfect
Details: Have only briefly looked at this, but appears to have more or less the same requirements, performance and issues as Gothic 3. You may need to restart the game after changing display resolution as it might not change correctly. There's a bit of stutter in new areas as they load but it runs fine after that. There's also a text rendering issue which can make some things difficult to read & PlayOnLinux complains about the game crashing when you quit. Tested with virtual desktop enabled.

I initially tested with Wine Staging, but the text rendering issue is even worse using that (whether CSMT is enabled or not) and it's bad enough to make some text unreadable.

Kernel version: 4.7.4-1-ARCH
Graphics card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970
Graphics driver & version: Proprietary 370.28
Wine version(s) tested: Wine 1.9.19
Install notes:

Make a clean 32-bit prefix if you don't already have one and disable d3d11 in Wine's configuration menu.

How well does it run: Nearly perfect but I did not test controller support so YMMV on that particular issue. The logo movie launches way off center for some reason but the main game displays on your monitor correctly. I suspect this may be an issue with other movies in the game but I am not sure.
Details:

I played from the very beginning and now I am in some ruins. Saving is console-style "save at this crystal thing" and that also works. I did not see any graphical glitches in the game.

Warning: I found a bug in the current version of PlayOnLinux (4.2.10) that causes shortcuts to .lnk files to break. See here for information about how to fix them: https://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_try_linux_repostrewrite/post130
How well does it run: Perfect
Details: Played through the tutorial and first mission with no sign of any problems. Tested with virtual desktop enabled. I also tested using Wine Staging, but sound was a bit crackly using that.

How well does it run: Perfect
Details: Same as for Thief - I've only played through the first mission so far but it seems to run perfectly. Tested with virtual desktop enabled. I also tested using Wine Staging, but sound was a bit crackly using that.
Any luck with Codename: Outbreak? I tried it but framerate was miserable. Unplayable.

Kernel version: 4.13.0-32
Graphics card: AMD RX 480 8GB
Graphics driver & version: Open source, with Mesa 17.3.2 from Padoka's stable Mesa PPA
Wine version(s) tested: Wine 3.0 (with CSMT enabled)

Install notes:Run "VideoSetup.exe" (or edit ~/Documents/My Games/The Saboteur™/SaveGames/config.ini manually if you don't want to install dxfullsetup) to configure display settings first.

For the display settings tool to work you need a couple of native DLLs, both acquired from Apr2006_MDX1_x86.cab (part of the DirectX installer). The first one is named "microsoft.directx.dll" and needs to be extracted to "$WINEPREFIX/drive_c/windows/assembly/GAC/Microsoft.DirectX/1.0.2902.0__31bf3856ad364e35", the second one is named "microsoft.directx.direct3d.dll" and needs to be extracted to "$WINEPREFIX/drive_c/windows/assembly/GAC/Microsoft.DirectX.Direct3D/1.0.2902.0__31bf3856ad364e35".

Run the game from/create a shortcut for "Saboteur.exe"
How well does it run: Very well
Details: Have played for a while but far from a complete playthrough. Performance could be better but it runs ok for the most part. I have noticed that the game freezes when quitting occasionally, no idea why this is but it only ever seems to happen when you quit the game soon after starting so it shouldn't be a big problem. This is another game that messes with the display brightness & fails to return it to normal on exit - just use xgamma (e.g. "xgamma -gamma 1") after playing to correct it.

Wine wrapper
I have put together a Linux Wine wrapper for this game. For more information, see the release thread in the game's forum: https://www.gog.com/forum/the_saboteur/the_saboteur_for_linux

Before playing, remove PhysXCore.dll, PhysXDevice.dll, PhysXLocal/ from the game's Binaries directory
Run the game from/create a shortcut for "MirrorsEdge.exe"
How well does it run: Almost perfect
Details: Runs great so far aside from some momentary freezes when entering new areas, but have not fully played through yet. If running the game with virtual desktop enabled, you must also set "Automatically capture the mouse in full-screen windows".

adamhm: Game: The Saboteur
Install notes: Requires dxfullsetup
Maybe add a comment that the installation of dxfullsetup is only required when you want to run VideoSetup.exe, but not to run the game itself (according to Patsche85's report). At least I try to avoid the installation of native Windows components when they are not necessary to run a game and would appreciate such a comment.

If using PlayOnLinux, run the game from/create a shortcut for "t3.exe"
How well does it run: Almost perfect
Details: Have only played through the beginning of the game so far but it seems to run fine, no sign of any major problems. You'll need to restart the game after changing display resolution for the change to apply properly. Also needs "Automatically capture the mouse in full-screen windows" set. Tested with virtual desktop and CSMT enabled.

Graphics card: AMD RX 480 8GB
Graphics driver & version: Open source, with Mesa 17.3.2 from Padoka's stable Mesa PPA
Wine version(s) tested: Wine 3.0 (with CSMT and virtual desktop enabled)

Install notes: Install & play.
Run the game from/create a shortcuts for "game.exe" and "Sentinels.exe" for the base game & Sentinels add-on respectively.
How well does it run: Perfect ("almost perfect" if using an AMD GPU)
Details: Played through the tutorial, started a new game and played for a short while (both in the base game and addon), seems to run perfectly except on AMD GPUs; on AMD GPUs the fade effect that's used when the menu or tutorial popups are presented instead appears completely black (sometimes with garbage displayed along the top). Not a critical issue since you're not going to be paying much attention to the stuff in the background at these times, but it's still worth noting.

Using the mouse to control the camera may be very unresponsive - as per clarry's post you can fix this by editing cfg/config.cfg and increasing the value for "setvar game_camerasensivity". Setting it to 20 seems ok for me.

adamhm: Using the mouse to adjust camera position seems *very* sluggish though - better to use keyboard controls for that.
Can you explain what you mean with very sluggish? How should it work, and how does it work?

I think the game has a very low sensitivity for camera rotation. You can poke the config file to fix that.

EDIT: cfg/config.cfg: setvar game_camerasensivity = 20.00

EDIT2: can you try codename: outbreak and see if there's a way to make it run with acceptable framerate?

It was very unresponsive & needed a lot of mouse movement for very little camera movement. But your suggestion fixes it :)

I did have a brief look at it some time ago when it released here but didn't get it running, I'll have another look at it later though.
