You know you're getting old when you decide on a weekend project and while looking for parts for it you find that you already build it 30 years ago.

I need a small variable power supply because the high quality ones I have all take a lot of space on my small bench and they're too much for my normal needs anyway. I knew I had modified a fixed voltage one way back then but I did not remember that I modified it twice, putting in a better regulator chip the second time.

I'm going to run some tests on it tomorrow to see if it works good enough.

I am a huge fan of those and also the Alfred Hitchcock hour, but this Out of the Unknown is, well, unknown to me. Yay! new things!

oh and did anyone besides sachys watch last nights movie? did anyone else find the ending totally unnecessary? I mean, all that and then sad. (i'm, though silly, trying not to ruin the movie for anyone that still might want to see it. since it's a b-movie from the 50s, that's probably ridiculous.)

No, I didn't watch the last linked movies. I had a big dinner to finish when I saw it, and then I played a game on Steam for a little bit before cleaning up and heading off to sleep. I did play the MST3K movie I linked the other day. It had a dangerous monkey in it :D

Starting the new job has been successful so far. I just want to move on from my old job and let go of the past. Also, listened to a song tonight that hit close to home about artists and what's popular/listened to these days.
