Not that it matters, but I got a hair cut today and it was about time.

HIPPY!
Since we're talking Skyrim mods, this is an overview of what I have installed

Unofficial Skyrim Patch
Unofficial Dawnguard Patch
Unofficial Hearthfire Patch
Unofficial Dragonborn Patch
Unofficial High Resolution Patch
Falskaar
Wyrmstooth
Moonpath
TravelersOfSkyrim
Dark Dungeons for ENB
Immersive Battles
Immersive Brigands
Immersive Dawnguard
Immersive Dragonborn
Immersive Mercenaries
Immersive Patrols
Immersive Travlers
Immersive Werewolves
Imaginator
Winter Is Coming Cloaks
Hothrooper44 ArmorComplitation
Immersive Weapons
LeftHandRings
LeftHandRings - Dawnguard
Inconsequential NPCs
Run For Your Lives
When Vampires Attack
Vampire Overhaul
Apocalypse - The Spell Package
3DNPC (Interesting NPCs)
AmazingFollowerTweaks
Alternate Start - Live Another Life
Realistic Ragdoll Force
CLT (Craftable Lockpicks & Tools)
Craftable Low level Bows
Bandolier - Bags and Pouches
Train 99 Skills Per Level
Whistle

As you can tell I basically populated the world as much as possible, as I felt vanilla Skyrim was EXTREMELY empty. I also made crafting a bit more useful by being able to create lower tier bows, lockpicks (finally a use for those Iron Ingots!) and stuff of that nature, being able to call for your horse and being able to train until your gold runs out. Falskaar is a DLC-esque mod, both in size and scope, and it's actually pretty darn good besides a couple glitchy segments. Wyrmstooth and Moonpath to Elsewyr are supposed be like Falskaar but I haven't tried them yet.

The one mod that I consider a "must have" is Interesting NPCs. It adds over a hundred unique fully voiced NPCs, many of whom offer quests and some who are part of entire intertwined questlines (that are better than 99% of vanilla's quests) that can last for hours. Most of them are far more interesting (heh) than vanilla's, and the voice acting is generally solid too, though there are some characters with lower end voice acting.

I do occasionally use Frostfall but it typically ends up being more annoying than fun and gets uninstalled. It's best when playing with a new character, once you start questing all over Skyrim the mod just makes everything tedious, unless you're really into e-larping I guess.

I haven't had a crash yet with that current load order and it runs as smoothly as vanilla does on my laptop.
Today's 6/26, happy Stich Day guys! (Yes I know that's the american date layout but I figured I'd let it slide.)
About time. The cat finally ate her entire portion today. She hasn't been that hungry the past day or so. Now I can go about my day, well, what's left of it. Back to work.

Good to hear she is eating her meals again. Its always worrying when a pet goes off their feed. At least you will be less worried and better able to concentrate now.

No kidding. She resumed her usual food habit this morning. So bizarre.
So, what do you think about... stuff? And why?

Yeah Skyrim without mods is very empty. Did all those mods make Skyrim give you less performance though? I'm guessing the more populated the world is, the more powerful your CPU and GPU need to be for smooth gameplay.

I haven't noticed any performance changes at all to be honest, definitely no new found lag or anything of the sort. There might've been a few loading screens that hang a bit but I'm 99% positive it was due to an ENB that I've since uninstalled, but I haven't played in a few months so I can't say for sure, I'll give it a go in a few minutes and come back with the results.

I'll note that I'm playing on a cheap-ish Toshiba Satellite laptop. I have a Intel HD4000 graphics card, 6 gigs of ram, and an Intel i3-3120m at 2.50GHz processor. If you have a system that is more powerful then you should be able to mod Skyrim to your heart's content, the only real mods that affect framerate are graphics mods (ENB especially).

Edit: Nope, no gameplay lag. There is a slight audio lag hiccup on rare occasions, but that's because of an old mod that I probably uninstalled incorrectly.

"kicks the door in"

'Sup, everybody?
*Note to myself: Don't sleep behind the door.
*Note to DeMignon; sleep with your wife instead.
Just for those that enjoy a little stargazing...

"All this month the two brightest planets, Venus and Jupiter, have been drawing closer together in the west in the evening twilight — and drawing all eyes toward them. Look west on a clear evening as dusk is fading, and you can't miss them. They're the brightest celestial objects after the Sun and Moon.

At the beginning of June, the two planets were 20° apart in the sky, about twice the width of your fist held at arm's length. Week by week, Jupiter and the stars behind it have gradually slipped lower in the evening twilight. But Venus, due to its rapid orbital motion around the Sun, has stayed high up. The resulting slow-motion convergence is setting the stage for a pair of dramatic sky sights."

"The pairing on June 30th is so tight that a small backyard telescope will show both planets in the same field of view, Venus appearing as a brilliant, fat crescent and Jupiter accompanied by its four largest moons. Telescopically, the two planets will appear nearly the same size — Jupiter, though much larger in reality, is also much farther away. But their globes will contrast dramatically in brightness, with Venus's crescent appearing dazzlingly white compared to Jupiter's duller, striped cloud deck."

Fully visible with the naked eye, and a compact camera should manage an OK photo / give a better view as well - just been out and had a look myself, though my photos didnt turn out very well (a little too much haze to get a clear pic here or I'd have added one).
