Yes, indeed.

Leucius: Wish me luck fellow hermits, I've officially smoked my last regular cigarette and come morning and a new day, I'll be e-cigarette only. At least, that's the plan.

This is my reaction to internet gaming articles/reviewers/ etc.

I wanted to say... Something, but the words escape me; tonight was rough.... But it's over. Now to relax :B

Hey that's how I feel all the time. I open up internet, think I have something to give. But instead I write just something complete nonsense that if I re-read it I'd be embarrassed :)

It was a rough night and I was barely coherent. I had to read a book for a half hour before my thoughts normalized. My apologies :)

no need for apologies! For me at least :) The others might be a tougher crowd :D

So you bypassed smoking the bacon and went straight on to being a crackling-head? O_____o

Something like that. I'm reading the Neverwinter quartet, and had to read a chapter to forget about the hellish mess that last night was.
I did it! I finally did it! I finally got Risen to work again and was able to keep Two Worlds installed. It was a simple PhysX issue, the PhysX that GOG's Two Worlds installs does not play well with some newer PhysX versions (it seems to overwrite/disable/mess with newer versions), but uninstalling it, installing the newest PhysX and the legacy version side by side fixes the issue.

However there is new issue, of course. There is a 30 second pause between the game taking over the screen and the intro logos. That is thirty seconds of staring at a blank black screen waiting for the intro logos. Still, I can live with this and I'm sure that it can be fixed one way or another (maybe uninstalling/reinstalling Risen one last time so it can use the PhysX it prefers), I'm just happy that I can play it again.

I think there might be a command line for that (ie summat like "-nointro" in the shortcut)
Smoking update: Day 4 of vaporizer only. Knock on wood, I think I'm out of the bad zone. Giving up the vape will be a lot easier than giving up regular cigarettes was.

That's great. Looks like e-cigarettes are doing a good job in this. I've seen several peeps now being able to stop with regular cigs by switching to vaporizers. Steam is definitely better than smoke, keep it up Leucius!

More than likely you're right, I'll poke around and see if I can figure that out, still it's nothing gamebreaking and like I said, I'm just happy that I can play the darn thing again.

Thanks :) I'm pretty hopeful.
