I had the first chrome game many moons ago on disc (actually have it on steam now, but havent bothered with it as of yet). I remember it did a few things pretty well and had a rather open environment thing going on with planetary surfaces.

Beyond that - its cheap.

How was Risen 3 anyway?

It was awesome!
(But I admit being a fan of Gothic and Risen games).

I am not good at reviews, but let me say, I enjoyed the story, the quests and the atmosphere of the game. And for me the combat system was ok. I had many fun hours and it was worth buying it. I have to add that I got the German boxed edition which does not require steam to play so I could enjoy it properly during my holidays where I had not internet connection :D

Starcraft 1 Brood War Units are ridiculously overpowered.

Terrans has the Medic which can render Marines and Firebats nearly invulnerable. (But than again this is to balance out the flaw in the Marine compared to the Zergling, who you can spawn so many units it does not matter if you lost some of them and Zealot that has rechargable shields)

Zerg has the Lurker which used wisely can decimate every ground unit without being harmed.

Protoss has the Dark Templar and I think everyone knows why :P Not only that the Dark Archon can Mind Control units going as far as controlling worker units of other races and you can have all three races under your control at once :P

So uh... Hopefully your sports teams won this weekend, fellow hermits!
