I apoligize then. No hard feelings. I will just lay low. Besides its late where I am and I gotta go to school tomorrow for a test.
I'm just curious. If I buy the two star wars games X wing and Tie fighter. Will I need to re buy them in two months time because GOG re released them with enhanced graphics and sound? I have noticed this with a few games that I already have and I can tell you that it rustled my jimmies more than a little.

Uh, no? GoG.com doesn't do that really, they tend to update freely unlike a certain other online retailer. Are you referring to "Enhanced Editions" of games like the Black Isle/Bioware D&D rpgs?

All I can say is, probably not, given that the two games include both DOS and Windows versions. The Windows version has the better graphics, whilst the DOS version has a few extra nice features, such as iMuse music and battle damage cut-scenes, for example.

Edit: Ah, just got ninja'd! :-)

More internet fuckwads using that term pejoratively. The collective mental age of the average internet user's gotta be like 14 or 15.

Assimilate this.

Not quite ninja'd since your post provided the kid with more information than mine did:).

I just realised, and am quite amused that someone actually came into the Hermit Cave for questions on a game!

I think this would be the last place I'd check out! :-D

Yes that is it. and it has happened more than once to me (not by GOG). You buy a game you have been waiting for for months, everything is great and all then a week later they re release the game with extra content. I just don't want this to happen with GOG. (awesome site)

I just wanted to put the thought out there

aye, bit odd - particularly considering it couldnt have even been at the top of the forum at the time. still, it is intended to be a chat thread, so the question is certainly not offtopic

Were you directing that towards me? Moviebob? Or the Twitter poster posing as Mario?
*sips coffee* Urgh.

The mariomario twitter user, and people who use that term pejoratively. They've got the maturity of a kid who just discovered swearing and still thinks it's novel.
