WOW and people thought the product placement in Man of Steel was bad? At least the there was variety in the product placement. Oh look a IHOP, or look an Apple Product, etc. In Amazing Spider Man 2 it is just repeat just Sony Products:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H53183mVc2o&list=PL86F4D497FD3CACCE#t=773

And yes the movie began with a big Sony Logo which is Sony basically saying, "This is a Sony made movie and we will never give the movie rights to Spiderman back to Marvel. The Marvel stuff is so profitable since Avenger's success we made sure to put as much of our Product Placement to make sure Marvel will never get this movie"

Maybe I will try a dualboot on my win8 laptop first, just to get used to it some. I've just gotten so I'm curious about trying linux based stuff. A lot of things seem to be going that direction, and it'd be nice to have a few more options for things.

Haha...yeah I saw that Cinema Sins video too, it is indeed an absolutely ridiculous amount of Sony products on display in the movie. Fortunately they stopped short of branding spiderman's suit with a Sony logo as well. :P
Now I understand why he's making such awful movies :p

Ubuntu used to have an installer named Wubi. Not sure if it works on Win8, but for others like WinXP, you could install a Linux distro that sits on the Windows partition. Not quite the commit to a Linux install thing, but if you're looking to try it out, that's one way. Another would be to use the Ubuntu Live CD session. Try Ubuntu without the install.

On another note, finished Walking Dead Season 2...

Actually I read something the other day about being able to boot Ubuntu from a memory stick. I'll see if I can find the link.

Well apparently pudding is one of the big things in the game, so all of us in chat have been making pudding jokes, and he even repeated the one I made:

Why is it that everyone is not against this attack on Net Neutrality the sameway they were against SOPA and PIPA?

This attack on Net Neutrality is just another way companies to screw over the internet. And yet it no receiving as big of a backlash as SOPA was? I just hope the opposition succeeds:
